In a pinch I bought these when I was between insurances and needed something because I ran out of contacts. I wore them about 4 months and then my giant 124lb dog stepped on them. Fast forward, my rx ones broke so I'm buying a second pair until I can afford new prescription ones. The vision in my prior pair I remembered being the same as my expensive prescription ones. They were about half the weight but, held up to my toddler and my own tough love. The black frames were comfortable and they are cute on my face. I'm not much to explore with different colors in frames so the black for me was amazing. The glare when taking photos is less than stellar but, for the price they are well worth the money. I bought this pair to work on the computer without using contact lens, which it works perfectly for the situation. The size is regular but if you have a wider bone structure, you may consider getting a larger frame. The style is classic, basic, and modern, appropriate for any occasion. The lens quality is decent, it’s not top-notch but not at the bottom line either. Quality is just right in the middle. I minus 1 star because it broke with so minimal usage due to the plastic quality not being very flexible. If you want an affordable, fast, and convenient solution to working on the PC, this is one. I bought these on a trip when I forgot my glasses. They work fine up to 25 feet. After 25 feet, they are blurry and unsafe. Do not use these for driving!!! It's hard to see the TV at restaurants and bars. Alert - do not use for driving. Read more

Just got my new glasses and they work great out of the box, though I don't know how long they will last. They are comfortable and light. It just cracks me up that these cost ~$16 and got me to 20-20 or better while my optometrist was going to charge me way more money. Next I will go buy a similar pair of sunglasses and then brag to my friends and family! :) I should note that I spent about 10 minutes adjusting the glasses to fit my face straight. Here is a little info in case others need to also do that. First I used a nail file to remove a little plastic near a hinge since the two temples were pointing out at slightly different angles and it caused the glasses to sort of tilt with the right lens more forward relative to the left. Filing the plastic down fixed that problem. Then I also soaked one temple in very hot water and bent it a bit down to make the left lens sit a little higher and get the glasses level on my face. Although this was my first pair of glasses, I didn't give a lower rating for having to do these adjustments since I think optometrists usually do stuff like this anyway. Read more

I needed a pair of glasses to give my eyes a break from my contacts and these did the trick. I am not certain about the how long they will last. However, now that I know I can purchase prescription strength glasses for less than $20 and actually see with them the sky is the limit with me! I paid $248 for a similar pair of glasses with the scratch resistant and glare whatever and I also paid for thinner lenses. This product has given me a new outlook and freedom about getting glasses. I had to wait about two weeks to receive those "fancy" glasses with all the bells and whistles but I received this pair in two days! They fit well and are very functional for me!
