I was initially put off by the premium price for this Ororo battery pack, so I tried two other brands. Both would take a charge, and would start heating my vest, but they turned off on their own after just a few minutes. They wouldn't work again until I unplugged them and plugged them back in. That's just not acceptable. So I this Ororo battery, and it works perfectly! I usually have the vest on the low setting, and it will run all day on this battery. If you want an extra battery for your Ororo heated gear, don't bother with other brands. Save yourself the aggravation and just get the Ororo brand battery. Read more

Having my heated vest at work is a MUST. I learned quickly that if you use your vest on HIGH the battery only lasts 3 hours. So I purchased a second battery as back up. Once the battery runs down, it does take a while to charge it back to full charge. The batteries are a tad heavy but once connected to the vest or jacket, it doesn’t feel heavy or pull on the side it’s connected to. The battery is easy to connect and I recommend charging after each use. Read more
