I ordered this product and was extremely disappointed when it arrived with missing items and no instructions. To make matters worse, there was no easy way to contact the seller directly for help. The only option provided was to return the item. I already paid for shipping to receive the product, and now I’m expected to repack it and pay for return shipping as well. That’s incredibly frustrating, especially since the issue was the seller’s fault. Overall, this experience felt like a waste of time and money. I wouldn’t recommend buying from this seller unless you’re prepared to deal with poor communication and a lack of accountability. ***UPDATE*** The seller was very responsive and quickly provided the instructions I needed to assemble the coffee table. The quality of the product is solid, and I really appreciate how functional it is. It offers a surprising amount of storage, which is perfect for my studio apartment. This coffee table is nice to look at, but was a pain to build. The instructions could have been much clearer, and I definitely recommend having a power drill handy. Additionally, if you wanted an all black coffee table, keep in mind the slat design is not fully black, but instead black with light wood color peeking through. I wish I knew that before purchasing, as I wanted a fully black table and the product photos didn’t show that clearly (and I took a chance on the table with only 1 review and no photos). One more thing to keep in mind is that the coffee table does not soft close, so you must be careful when lowering the table and avoid getting your fingers caught in between the space as this thing is a little harsh upon closing. This coffee table is small. I knew it was going to be small when I received the box but I assembled anyway. It's my fault for not reading the measurements before getting it. I feel like the size is good for a smaller home, smaller room, office or apartment. My sectional couch makes it look even smaller. Aside from it being on the smaller end, I do love how it -raises up for me to work on my laptop or even have dinner. Someone mentioned that it slams shut- mine doesnt, it goes down softly. Only issue is that it doesnt go up in sync. If i pull it up on one side, the other side doesnt tend to go up at the same time & lags behind. Only way to have both sides in sync is by pulling it up from the middle. So, no biggie. -stores things inside. Unlike other coffee tables this actually serves 2 purposes- a table and storage. I'm able to store our laptops inside of it and keep it away from my toddler. Plus, it helps keep my living room clutter free. -VINTAGE look. I love that it has a trendy, vintage look. It was easy to assemble. Took a little over 1 hour. I was able to put everything together except for the end. You will need someone to hold the top of the table up as you install it so it can be balanced. Other than that, it was fairly easy. Instructions were good. Do yourself a favor and use a drill. That always makes things easier. And you'll need a screw driver to screw in some of the screws that drills cant screw in. Quality is good. Seems sturdy but I believe this is pressed wood. Feels like it was last anyway. Cute, strong, looks great... would recommend if you have an apartment or smaller room or office to put this in. Read more
I absolutely love it!! It fits my living room in my apartment perfectly. Definitely suggest getting help for attaching the top but I was able to do it by myself with some patience and problem solving. Other than that solid feeling wood and easy to put together! Read more
