This robe was just what I needed. A soft thirsty light weight robe for after a shower. I ordered a medium since I am short but a bit chubby. So it fit perfectly around me but the sleeves were a bit long so I hemmed them. I expected a baby blue robe based on the picture but the robe is a bit turquoise in color. The quality of the robe is worth the price paid. It is light weight, and comfortable. I have washed it a few times, in cold water, and dried on a permanent press dryer setting. It seems to be holding up so far. The item fell short of 5 stars because it's not actually "Terry Cloth," as advertised. Maybe in the country of origin; China, this is considered terry cloth, but in actuality it is more of a microfiber cloth. It does not absorb water the way true terry cloth does, and that should be noted for anyone who is looking for a thicker absorbent authentic terry cloth robe. Read more

I ordered this robe in anticipation of a hospital stay and wanted terry cloth as opposed to velour or brushed nylon. It feels absolutely nothing like terry cloth. I ordered my regular size which is large and it fits more like a medium. The fabric is very thin, there is no warmth at all to it. The tie length is very short as well. Also, when I ordered the robe, it said I could return it all the way through the holiday season and now that I have recuperated from my surgery and can get out to return it, I find that the return window has closed, which makes me very unhappy. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone just because it is not the material not the fit as described. Read more

Thick and heavy cotton like a towel -- very comfortable fit with warmth. Washability --weekly with minimal bleach and no dicoloration. It has lasted me 2 years thus far. Definately a value for the money. Read more
