Great value for a great bed! I had previously bought an elevated bed which was immediately snubbed by my rescue. It didn’t take very long to recognize that this senior pit mix wanted the cushy life! We have blankets with this type of material that he loves snuggling with, so this bed is absolutely perfect! The stuffing did take overnight to fully fluff up, but the moment it did, he was on it! It’s now his preferred napping spot. He gets to stay warm in my wfh office during the cooler months. It fits perfectly next to my desk. Highly recommend for the support and coziness this dog bed provides. Very easy to put on and remove cover for cleaning. Read more

I have had this almost a month now and my dog took to it instantly. He curled right up on it and goes straight to it every time he comes in the room and I don’t even have to send him. Once I let him know it was his it was over. I don’t like how they over exaggerate the thickness of it in the picture but it’s pretty fluffy. It’s more fluffy than thick or dense. That picture makes you think it will be like a small mattress or something or like it’s dense when it’s really lightweight and fluffy. It smashes a good amount but it’s not like just a rug, and you can’t just feel the floor. I don’t know how long that will last I’ve only had it about a month. I have washed the cover and it was very simple to remove and reapply. It didn’t shed in the washer. I do like that I got 2 emails before the package came with suggestions on care. Putting it in the dryer like they said helped fluff it up and remove that crease in the middle a little. And they warned that it takes a day or two to get to full thickness and it also seems to be true. Make sure to beat it and fluff it like they say or it will be pretty flat and limp. I imagine some of the complaints here were because they didn’t follow the instructions or maybe didn’t receive them. The good ones like putting it in the dryer came by email not with the package. I have a picture of how big it is with me standing with it. I’m a visual person and telling me sizes doesn’t help too much. I am 5’ 4” for scale. I got the x-large 41x27 and I think it’s perfect. There’s a little extra room to roll around on so he’s not hanging off. He’s a rescue I found running in the street so I have no idea how much he weighs because he hasn’t been to the vet yet except to check for a chip but he feels like he might be 40-50 lbs? He looks boxery to me lol. Maybe boxer/pit if that gives you size. I’m happy with it so far and he seems to be as well. (Don’t judge my floors I just pulled up carpet) Read more

Only 4" tall when it's been it if package for the 24 hours. Once there's ANY pressure on it, it's about 1" tall. It's like fluffing up a pillow, it install l instantly goes down with any pressure. It seems sturdy as far as being put together though. Like it appears to be good quality. I think I'll get some extra filling for it and it might then make a good need l bed. So far the outer cover doesn't appear to be shedding, but it's barely been used. It's a nice size and material seems sturdy along with stitching. Put together better than some human weighed blankets I've gotten that start leaking on day one. So I think really all it needs is a little extra umph with some sturdy foam and it'll be great!! I would say for the most part worth the money. I'll update if anything changes. BTW it is human size of your short, and much cheaper than the human ones. Read more

I recently purchased the CHAMPETS Orthopedic Dog Bed for my large-sized dog, and while it's not a total flop, it certainly didn't live up to the plush expectations set by its photos. First Impressions: When the bed arrived, it was flat as a pancake. It took a few hours to puff up, which was a bit of a letdown since I was hoping to set it up for my dog immediately. The initial presentation wasn't the best, but I decided to give it some time to fully expand. Comfort Level: The bed isn't as comfortable as it appears. It's supposed to be orthopedic, but it lacks the supportive, cushiony feel you might expect. It's more like a thick mat than a plush pillow. However, my dog doesn't seem to mind too much and still uses it regularly. It just doesn't seem to provide that extra comfort, especially for older dogs who might need more support. Design and Features: The removable cover is a nice feature and makes cleaning a breeze. The material is durable and seems like it will hold up well over time. The size is perfect for large dogs, giving them plenty of space to stretch out. Value for Money: For the price, I expected a bit more in terms of comfort and support. It's not a terrible bed by any means, but there are probably better options out there if you're looking for true orthopedic support for your furry friend. In conclusion, the CHAMPETS Orthopedic Dog Bed is just okay. It gets the job done, but it falls short of being the ultra-comfortable bed it appears to be in the pictures. If your dog isn't too picky, they'll likely still use it, but if you're looking for superior comfort and support, you might want to keep searching. Pros: Removable and washable cover Durable material Adequate size for large dogs Cons: Arrives flat and takes time to puff up Not as supportive as expected Feels more like a mat than a pillow Overall, it's a decent bed, but it leaves something to be desired in the comfort department. I am quite pleased with the size, as it comfortably accommodates my eighty-six-pound dog, allowing him ample room to move about. The item is washable, and the results are excellent. Furthermore, it appears to be very durable. I would certainly recommend purchasing it. Read more
