Great device, especially for the price. Has 360° sound, so no need to face the speaker in any particular direction. Voice assistant feature comes in handy. The alternating lights are aesthetically pleasing and an appealing component. It has multiple bass (EQ) settings for a deeper sound experience. Though it takes hours to fully charge, it has an operating time of 30 hours of continual play, though I haven’t tested it, to its fullest capacity, but I haven’t had to recharge it, since I bought it. Additionally, I now have the Ortizan X8, upgrade, and it can be paired with my X10, for surround sound. The battery output is more powerful in the X8, boosting everything else. After having the same blue tooth speaker on my desk for a 7 or 8 years, it stopped working. Alas, no more music to get me through a challenging work day! So off to Amazon to start shopping for a replacement. This speaker was recommended by Amazon and has more than 44,000 reviews. Plus the price was right. It was delivered quickly. Works well and for what I need it for it's fine but it is replacing a speaker that hands down was above and beyond this one because it had BASS this just doesn't and I am not sure why it even has an equalizer button. It changes the sound slightly but not much and adds nothing to the bass. I bought this because of price point reviews and the similar look. I am keeping because I just can't keep going back and forth on a speaker. And this one says waterproof...it better be. I use them on the shower. I am hoping this is going to make me more happy the longer I use it but I was disappointed with the sound of particular bass heavy song. They sync together. After initial pairing, automatic when power up both after. Answered calls, good sound, three preset equalizer tones. Good battery life. Use as jobsite radio while painting. Great speaker, connects fast, loud and quality sound. Battery lasts a long time for me as well. Had a some sort of hardware bug with the first speaker but their customer service responded to my complaint and immediately sent me a replacement which has been working fine ever since. Had mine for over a year now and it's still going strong. Still has great battery life. Still has great sound. It's not the loudest thing but it's plenty loud enough for casual listening. I use it a lot in the kitchen and just around the house while I do chores and have no problem hearing it over most noise, even the vacuum cleaner. It'sprobably not going to punch over a party or anything but it's comparable or better than the speakers on small portable boom boxes. Not a ton of bass but I wouldn't expect that from a compact speaker like this but it has a good range for what it is, not like it's completely lacking bass. Very satisfied with this purchase.
