I purchased this because the one that came with my Xbox one started to sound like General Grievous coughing in there (if you don't get that reference, I am surprised that you are looking at this item). Anyways, that was disappointing because the Xbox one itself is so quiet. I had to either play with headphones or turn it up so loud just to cover up the noise from the power supply. I'm happy as can be with this cord! Our Microsoft one went kaput a couple months ago. As soon as I plugged this one in it worked. Perfectly. I will say the fan in it is a little bit loud compared to the stock Microsoft cord, but it certainly isn't really noticeable when you're gaming or watching a movie or something. I only ever notice it when the Xbox is off. But that was because we had "instant-on" turned on in the settings, I turned that off, and problem solved. This power supply doesn't get hot at ALL. Even after being on and used, for basically the entire day. Our old one got very very hot. We've only been using this for a few days, but I will come back to this review if we experience any problems. I also love the customer service, I've been emailed a few times letting me know about the lifetime warranty on this product and general Q&A's about it. And if I have any problems with the power supply, I know all I need to do is email them and they will take care of it. I absolutely recommend this!! 10/10 *update 1* 2 months in and still working perfectly. Doesn't run hot, no malfunctions, but it just barely started being really noisy. The fan inside, for whatever reason, is super noisy now out of nowhere. I emailed Ortz to ask about fixing it or replacing it, they told me to talk with Amazon. Amazon has been extremely helpful and is taking care of my needs. I am going to take one star off this review though, because of the noise it has started making. **Update 2** Well I had to send back the old one and order a new one. The shipping took like two weeks, maybe more, it felt really long cause that's a long time to not have a working Xbox One with a gamer in the house. (Fortunately we've got the One S and 360 still as a backup.) we have been using this "new" one for not even a full month and it no longer functions. I'm so done with this process. I'm just going to get a refund (hopefully I can) and send our original cord into Microsoft and have them send us a new one for $35. I suggest you do the same. Don't use these off brand power supplies. They're noisier than the original cord straight out of the box and they have shoddy workmanship. NOT WORTH IT. They will fail. This product lists everything honestly. Saved me about 30 dollars, than buying the Xbox' s own brand. No issues at all, it runs efficiently, but it does produce a noticeable sound. A lot louder than the original Xbox power supply. It tends to quiet down once it runs for a good bit of time. Other than that it's worth for the price. Read more

I bought this to replace my Xbox One power cord because I had went out and I thought something was wrong with my Xbox so I called Xbox and they wanted $120 just to look at it and fix whatever was wrong with it so I would have ended up paying $120 for a power cord which is just ridiculous and it would have taken 3 weeks for them to get it back to me when I got this one for a third of the price and I got it in 3 days but you can't because it worked perfectly fine there was no issue with it I didn't hear any humming sound like some of the other people stated in the reviews but it does work fine I do play my console all day long and I've had no issues with it if I have some issues with it in the future I will update my review but as of now I am very pleased with my purchase.
