This Bacon was and still is very good, it was not fatty like most in the store pound, actually got all piece of bacon once t was cooked. Was very fresh, and the price was excellent can’t get that price in any stores. If they have that price all the time I would buy it on Amazon regularly. Every slab will be different, so I'm only speaking for the package I got. Flavor and freshness were very good. But there was much more fat than meat on the bacon, to the point that I trimmed off a good quarter of each slice and still had mostly fat. It cooked nicely, smelled good and tasted fine. Read more
