I was looking for a raised dog bed for my 14lb westiepoo when I came across this one. It immediately caught my eye because it looked like a mini crib! So cute! The rails help keep toys on the bed and help my pup to feel safe while she naps. This dog bed includes a very thin, cheap mat. I knew when I saw that in the description that I needed to get a better mattress so that my pup could be comfortable. It just so happens that this bed is the same size as a mini crib so a mini crib mattress fits perfectly! Most mini crib mattresses have a waterproof cover which makes it even more practical. I’d advise grabbing one to go with this. I also bought a set of mini crib fitted sheets and some baby blankets as they’re the perfect size. The fitted sheets I bought are by the KeaBabies brand and they also sell mini toddler pillows that have matching prints to go with the sheets. This dog bed arrived very fast and was packaged securely. Assembly was quick and easy and the only tool needed was the included Allen wrench. The frame is metal, likely aluminum, so the bed is light enough to move around but very sturdy. I got the largest size so my pup could have plenty of room to sleep and play. Our dog sleeps in her dog bed on the floor. Like a raccoon with her pillows and blankets. I was going to make an elevated bed for her but then we found this. Super easy to assemble, exact size for a crib mattress and elevated. Se weorder a crib mattress pad, which is waterproofand sheets. So much better than any floor dog bed. Dog took to it perfectly. She is 60lb pit mix. We are ordering a second one for another location. Best pet bed ever. The base of the bed uses rear wooden slats and it assemblies super easy. Just don't over tighten the bolts. Has rubber feet on legs so it won't scratch the door. A tip is loosely assemble it. Place it on a nice flat floor then tighten all the bolts. You can reverse the entrance by switching the bed sides. I’d give this little bed 20 stars if that were an option! Quality, cuteness, and absolutely perfect in every way possible! Looks like a little crib or toddler bed, but in dog version!! Expensive but worth every penny! This thing is solid and sturdy! Very easy to assemble..took me maybe 15 minutes total. I bought the small. My beautiful little Angel (her name), is a 4 month old, 5 lb Cavachon for size reference. Although she probably won’t ever outgrow this one, I plan to get the medium one eventually….Being I have other dogs too. Hopefully it doesn’t become unavailable or a price increase before then. I got two of these—they are adorable, light weight frames with wood slats like a toddler bed. The actual bed they come with is more of a mat. It’s thin, it’s definitely not a bed, but I just shove it under their real beds. This thing is big and holds a large dog bed—it’s great bc it’s higher off the floor, and light enough that it’s easy to slide n mop under. The sides create a barrier between them n the walls too, so they don’t scuff them up running into bed n plowing into the walls anymore. Like them a lot. Idiot proof assembly that’s very straight forward. Easier with a power tool but doable with the tool they provide—giving gloves was a nice touch, though I didn’t use them. Great buy. Read more

This bed is well made, simple to build and looks nice. As many mentioned, the mat that comes with it is thin and well honestly, not so attractive. I ordered the one shown in my pictures along with the white blanket. My girl got in her bed as soon as it was built but then didn't seemed interested. As soon as I moved it near the window - if she's not playing, eating or laying in someone's lap - that's where you'll find her. I am happy with the bed but more importantly - so is my 4 legged buddy. I bought this a year ago for my Boston terrier who now weighs 28 pounds. It has been a great choice. He can still stretch out full length. The bed's finish is still perfect. It is sturdy but easy to move and to clean. Read more

The medium is perfect for my 10 year old, 22 pound, Maltese! He’s not sure about it yet, but I think he’ll settle in soon. My youngest son is moving out for college and Jax is used to sleeping in his bed with him. I’m hoping this will make the change feel a little less stressful. It’s a great bed, really good quality. I did like others and bought a separate mattress/pad. I’m glad I did because the one that comes with it is extremely thin. This could even be used for toddlers or somewhere to lay a baby down for a nap. Very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend! Read more
