Good starter board, not for serious skaters
Purchased as a gift for my niece and she loves it, but I have a few complaints, so let's start with those ... CONS: - As mentioned by another reviewer, the board has some delam right near the tail. Not an issue for a 5 year old, but this can significantly weaken a board at a point that's already prone to failure. Be wary of this product if you skate hard. - The deck is a bit heavier and thicker than a typical deck. This will make it a harder for her to learn ollies, but she'll be a champion if she can dial them in on this thing. - The grip tape is significantly grippier than a typical deck / seems like something you might put on a long board. This might eat up her shoes, but it could also be a bit helpful as she learns. PROS: - Got it for 1/3rd the price of a typical complete (seems to have gone up now). - The ABEC-7 bearings and wheels are silky smooth. - Came with bonus 1/8" risers that weren't mentioned. - All the components will last through multiple decks. - My niece loved the matching trucks, wheels, and graphics. All in all, this skate is solid if you're just learning or looking for a cruiser board. Not recommended for serious skaters. Read more

I've received 2 of these boards. While the components are nice the deck quality is terrible The first board deck I received was significantly delamenated. I received a second board due to this and this new board deck is delamenated too! I'm quite surprised that they would sell a board with the plywood layers separating, delamenating. Read more
