Best vest to date
Sz :xxl black. I have a harness type weighted vest which is OK but I don’t like wearing it outside. I chose this vest because it is more comfortable and looks like a regular vest, provided you wear a neoprene vest😀. I went by the measurement chart on their website and the xxl is a perfect snug fit, but not too snug. It sits comfortably on the body it’s tight enough that the weights stay in place when you walk. I think if the vest were looser you’d get natural movement from side to side when walking. The vest is make from a thick neoprene, with a wide zipper. There was odor upon unpacking, nothing that won’t air out in a day or so. There is also a drawstring that you can tighten the vest at the chest if needed ( you won’t need to) The little weights come in two boxes and you insert them into the neoprene pockets on the inside of the vest. Very simple, they have a slight curve and I put that side facing the body. When each pocket is full the total weight is 10.2 lbs. I had 4 weights left over. Comfortable to wear and move in and you won’t look like some A Team wannabe. I like the idea of keeping the weights in the freezer to keep you cool, but I’m not going to fuss I’ll just put the entire vest in the freezer. Ten pounds doesn’t sound like much but you will feel it. I would recommend this vest to anyone for its comfort and style. It’s pricey but the materials and construction are worth it. No cleaning instructions included but I’ll treat it like our wetsuits. Read more
