I went from a 14 pro to the 16 pro. My 14 pro case was big and bulky. I learned the hard way after smashing the glass backing in a slim case. After having it repaired, I retired to a thick case for better protection. I always hated my thick case, but it did protect the glass back. Once we switched to the 16 pro, I was eager to go back to a slim case. If you’re thinking, “it’s not a glass back so I can get away with a slimmer case,” like I was, you’d be right! The case is very light and fits the phone well. It is the lightest of 3 iPhone 16 Pro Max cases I tried. The case have an opening for the new camera button, while exposing part of the screen, turned out to be the superior design than those cases where the camera button is buried inside. It is just easier to use the button and do the scrolling actions with this case. However, the edges of this camera button opening is very sharp. With normal page scroll actions, my thumb continued to be scrapping against the sharp edge of the case. I got so annoyed that in the end I had to sand the edges down myself. This is a big shortcoming of this case which the team should improve on. Also the bottom part of the magnet came off when I take the case off after a few uses. It does not affect the function but definitely is annoying. Other than that I think the case is good. Read more

I am pleasantly surprised with this case. I have had a hate relationship with Otterbox for a long time. Their cases were always very good for protection, but I thought the price did justify it. I stopped buying them like 5 yrs ago. Especially after their first attempt at implementing MagSafe. It was total garbage. Truly half a$$ed effort. So I was hesitant to ever buy another. Then I saw this case yesterday on Amazon, the photoshopping was so good, so sharp, I had to try it. I did, and I couldn’t be happier. It looks just as sharp in person, and the MagSafe is excellent. I do wish they had more color options. Black, red and even green would be some great additions. I highly recommend this case to those who want some protection, but not too much. It is not too bulky, and it looks great. The buttons could be a little more clicky instead of sticky, but not an issue at all, the buttons are still easy to press. Read more
