I ordered size 20 x 20 inserts to fit my 18 x 18 pillow case. The size was perfect for my case. Having the larger insert placed into the smaller pillow case created a very full pillow. If I ordered the same size, then there would not be much fullness once placed into the pillow case. The pillow inserts arrive packaged separately in the box. They are flat due to the pressure sealed packaging. As soon as I took the pillow inserts out of their packages, they immediately puffed up. These pillow inserts are extremely well made and the price is fantastic. The zippers work great! I just love how the zippers appear to be hidden. The insert covers are made from good quality material. They are soft and beautiful. It fit beautifully in my pillow case. My pillow is very fluffy looking. The pillow insert is so well made one could use it as it is without a pillow case; but I would want to protect the insert. I am looking for a pillow case for my other insert. I could not find any pillow cases made by Oubonon. I wish they made them. I will definitely purchase more pillow inserts made by Oubonon through Amazon. Read more

These pillows are great! They are full and firm. They hold their shape. I bought a different brand in a different size and I saw a stark difference in quality. These are the ones you want to buy! Read more

Great euro pillows; despite being vacuum sealed they immediately fluffed up and could be put into the shams. Medium firmness. Fabric covering seems high quality, thicker than many pillows. All around a good buy and a good price. Highly recommend. Read more

If you are new to this, as I was, here is the low down: most throw pillows or couch cushions you buy are filled with a combination of junk stuffing materials; they quickly lose their shape and support, most cannot be re-stuffed, many cannot even be washed/cleaned. Even if the stuffing or 'insert' inside the pillow cover is of good quality, you will eventually likely wish to refill or replace them anyway, as even good quality ones lose their support, given sufficient time. Unfortunately, most of the refills or 'inserts' you might buy are also junk - many inserts contain low quality stuffing, most are not encased in a cover over the stuffing, those which have a cover frequently have no zipper - meaning that stuffing cannot be easily added, removed, or replaced to adjust firmness or renew the pillow. Every bit of the supply chain here is oriented toward having you throw away what you have and buy something new to replace it. With me so far? Okay, so if you into saving money or not topping off the local landfill, then you are in the market for cushion/throw pillow inserts - these 'oubonon' ones are a good choice. They cost a bit more than the junk ones - but they have good quality stuffing, are washable, are encased in a cover, and the cover has a zipper (a decent one that will actually work a few times) - allowing you to adjust the amount of stuffing. A couple of related tidbits for my fellow newbies: - Inserts are almost universally a bit smaller than the size they are stated to be. This means that if you have a cover that is x inches, and you buy an insert that is also x inches, the resulting pillow will be quite flat. Sometimes that may be what you want, but most of the time you want a well-filled, 'cushy' pillow. If so, you should buy an insert one size up from the stated size of the cover. So if the cover is twenty inches square for example, you will want a twenty-two inch square insert. - the proper way to place an insert into a cover, is to fold the insert in half, place it inside the cover, and unfold it in place. This takes the strain off the zipper of the cover. Broken zippers from covers where people have tried to yank an old inert out or jam a new one in being one of the most common ways to ruin a cover. - most inserts, including these, are shipped vacuum packed for space efficiency. Most of the time they will quickly expand readily on their own. If not, give them a good pummeling, or stick them in the dryer along with a couple of tennis balls for a few minutes. Hope it helps. I used these inserts to replace the custom made ones which came with our new sofas. The inserts in the custom pillows were feather and down, but the fabric on those was crinkly, stiff, and noisy. The Oubonun inserts had plenty of loft and were soft and quiet. We use them for extra support to “cushion” our backs when we’re sitting on the sofa. Our grandson said they made a comfy pillow for him when he stretched out on the sofa to watch television. The fabric on the inserts feels soft and smooth. There’s a zipper on one end. I opened it and pulled out a little of the filling — very soft and high quality. The inserts arrived flat but started to fluff up instantly as soon as I opened the seal on the bag. The instructions give several ways to help them expand, including just leaving them alone for awhile. I put each one in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes and they puffed up beautifully. I’m sensitive to smells, especially chemical ones. I noticed a smell from the plastic bag they were sealed in when they arrived, but once out of the bag the pillows had no smell at all. My sofa pillows are 20 x 20 and I got the 22 x 22 inserts. Perfect fit. One other thing I’ll mention that I like is that they are soft and supportive when you sit against them but then puff back up to look pretty. I’m very pleased with these inserts — one of the highest quality things I’ve bought in a long time. Read more

These are very good firm support inserts that hold up to the family lounging on the couch. They are better fill (thicker) than the stuffing our couch cushions came with. I've tried several brands of inserts but I won't look any further than these from now on as long as they keep making them this good!!🙏👍♥️ They're also priced well and sometimes go on a good sale.
