This little rechargeable lamp is perfection. I have it on my covered deck and it gives off the most beautiful light whether it's on it's dimmest setting or it's brightest for a little reading. I usually keep it on it's lowest at night when on the deck having wine alone or with friends. I have other faux battery candles scattered about and prefer soft lighting at night. Just a light touch and it comes on. Same light touch turns it off. Recharging it is SO easy and works like a charm. It holds a very long charge. The wood look goes well with the outdoor setting and it truly is waterproof, even where you recharge it. A little rubber thingy closes tight over the hole when not in use. I've had a little rain blow in on it and doesn't effect it at all. I will probably bring it inside when the Winter temps get like Siberia but this lamp will be on my deck during all the other seasons. This is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for." My wife requested this item and she absolutely loves it. She has like 3-4 of them. Well made and works on a charge. Came in handy when the power went out. They are small. Good for ambience but will not massively light up an area. The battery life seems short to me (I see my wife often recharging them) but honestly I haven’t monitored it too closely for an opinion. This lamp is perfect! I love that it is dimmable and water resistant! It is the perfect size to light up a small area like a shower or side table. It gives off the vibes of a bedside table lamp! I use this in the shower in the morning so I don’t have to turn on the big lights as they hurt my eyes after just waking up! Definitely recommend to anyone who needs a small lamp! It works well. I use it as a bed side light. I like that it is cordless and is easy to charge. The charge lasts a while too and is dimmable. It would work well in areas that don’t have a plug or you don’t want a corded lamp. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because from the pictures, I thought it was a fabric lamp shade.
