It's summertime with my preschooler and my 3rd Grader, which means a lot of trying to keep them busy so they use up their energy in productive ways. This week we decided to take a walk every morning to look at bugs and plants and see what there is to see. But the sun is pretty bright even in the morning, so I decided to get us some sun hats. This one is for my 3rd Grader. It's a great hat. It came with a strap that has two clips, which clip onto two little hooks on the underside of the hat. That'll keep it on in the wind. The hat also tightens around the head, so you can adjust it for the perfect fit. I like the colors and the design a lot. And I love that it's water resistant, just in case we ever get caught in the rain. And my child says that it's really comfortable, which is great. It's lightweight, so it'll breathe a little and not make one's head too hot. But most importantly, it provides a lot of sun protection for one's face, ears and neck. I bought this earth-tone color block sun hat for my 6yr old son, and he’s been wearing it every single day when we go outside. It’s stylish and somehow goes with everything, occasionally my daughter will end up wearing it and I love that the colors are gender neutral and it looks cute on her too. The hat is slightly on the larger side and comes with an adjustable elastic strap which we haven’t really had to use bc my kids have giant noggins.
