I was looking for a size 36 waist, 32 length cargo pant that allowed me to tuck in a heavy shirt, without being bulky at the thigh and butt. These fit that category. The material is smooth but not shiny, with an interior which feels like flannel. It is stretchy with elastic at the waist. Pockets are well made. As someone else commented, they run long. I ended up hemming the legs, making shorter by at least 1/2 inch, but eliminating the elastic ankle closure. That is the reason I deducted one star. Bought this pants in the past in a different size and love them super comfy. However, not sure if size has anything to do with the material but the smaller size material is different from the ones I bought in the bigger size. These pants are very comfortable. The bit if stretch in them is excellent for hiking and other outdoor activity that may require large steps or kneeling. They are also light and cool feeling. I will be ordering more, for sure! Read more
