Option A: If you have the factory provided laces which came with the shoe, or you like the lace length you are currently using, remove lace from shoe and measure these from tip to tip. Option B: If you no longer have the factory provided laces which came with the shoe, or don't like the lace length you are currently using, count the number of holes in the shoe you wish to use the new OrthoStep laces and use the chart on the OrthoStep Website to determine which lace length would work best for those shoes. The shoes I wished to use my new OrthoStep laces in were: Women's Asics GT1000 and Mizuno Wave Inspire 12. Both had 14 holes (7 per side) and the factory provided lace length was 54". I found Option A gave me the most accurate information to choosing the right lace length for my shoe and personal lacing technique/preferences. The 54" were perfect. Option B recommended a shorter lace length which would have been too short to tie. Great value except the end plastic tip of one of the laces came off and I had to glue it back on. Almost exact replacement for my Brooks Addiction Walker2 running shoes and length was only 2 inches shorter than the original laces. Read more

I gave this four stars, because I can't say I Love shoelaces. I bought these to replace the laces that came in my son's sneakers, men's size 9 1/2. I wasn't sure what size to get. I went with the 54" laces and they are the right size. They are the same size as the laces that we are replacing. I'd say they are a little long. When you tie them, the loops are pretty big, but I think the next size down would have been a little bit too short. These are the rounded laces that I much prefer for sneakers, as opposed to flat laces. They arrived promptly and the price was fair. I don't think I can say anything else about shoelaces. Read more

I got these as a replacement for the laces that came with my futsal shoes. I measured the original ones so I got these in the same size. They look great and do exactly what I wanted, which is to add a personal touch to my shoes. Came with an extra pair, which I honestly didn't expect - maybe I didn't read the description well enough, but that was a great plus for me, since now both my futsal shoes and cleats have the same flair. They seem to be very durable and have taken a strong beating from my shots. I can be described as a power forward and I shoot with both feet so these laces go trough a lot on a weekly basis - no complaints on that department. The laces obviously got dirty with use, but not to the point that I thought they looked bad or needed washing - plus rain always helps the lazy :-) I'd recommend these to anyone looking to change up their footware a bit. I have a pair of New Balance sneakers that are relatively new but the shoe laces broke which has never happened to me. I looked online for some new laces and saw these and hoped the color would match okay. The color is great and they fit the shoes perfectly.
