These are such a fun addition to my already insane sunglasses collection! I know they’re described as a cat eye….and they are. But the top of the frames being straight across makes the shape different from any other pair I have and I love it. It’s flattering on all face shapes that I’ve encountered (I get asked if people can try them on a lot! 😂), and the tortoise shell coloring keeps the fun shape feeling easily styled and classic. The frame is thick and sturdy and they’re perfectly dark. I find myself reaching for them a lot and that says something because I have A LOT of options. Living in Florida, sunglasses are a must year round. These are a surprisingly sturdy pair … while they’re very lightweight, the earpieces in particular feel like they’ll hold up and won’t get bent. The most important thing about sunglasses for me is how well they block they light, and I wore these outside for awhile today to put them to the test. The amber color lens I got is just right - not too dark, but does its job in blocking the rays. I was actually surprised at how comfortable these were. They fit my face, and didn’t dig in behind my ears or on the nose piece. Besides being practical and a good price point, they’re actually cute, and a lot more stylish than the sunglasses I sometimes wear over my regular glasses! I got these for my wife and they are her new favorite pair of sunglasses. The cats eye design is stylish but I think the best part is the terrific lenses they have. They have the type of lenses that transition from darker at the top to a lighter shade at the bottom. The frames are a pretty generous size and will easily fit larger or smaller faces without a problem. Overall value is good considering the superb quality of the lenses alone.
