This set of glasses is well made and I like that they are rimless and lightweight, but other than that, I found nothing special about them that was worth the price tag of $13.50 each. There are plenty of this type of wine glass sets available for a lot less money. Side note: I have been a Vine member for almost a year and I give totally honest reviews. To earn 5 stars, the products I review have to be really well made, perform extremely well, and have a decent price point. I'm helping my college student get some everyday items for next year when they will live in an apartment and everyone needs some decent drinking glasses. This set of hand-blown glasses caught my eye; I opted for the larger 19 oz stemless versions. When they arrived, I wasn't even sure they were the right item as I was expecting four larger glasses to be quite a bit heavier. Each glass weighs a little less than 17 grams, so super lightweight. They appear well made and I did spot a bubble in the base of one of them which I take to be an imperfection in the blowing process. They do look nice and have a elegant shape, I think mainly I'm worried about long term sturdiness and whether they might crack with rough handling. I'll just have to tell my student to handle them with care and I'll report back with any long-term issues. These glasses are a little on the pricey side so I do hope they hold up. Read more
