Love this Edison bulb! It is huge. Temporarily attached to a skull lamp for Halloween. The color and brightness are spot on. This bulb deserves all of the attention so I will be making a lamp specifically for it. It's a stunner. This functions perfectly as a regular bulb should, but beware, it is HUGE! Read more
I ordered Oversized Edison LED Light Huge Bulb Vintage ST164 7W Equivalent 60W - Dimmable 2200K Warm Amber Glow - 650 Lumens - E26 Base - Antique Filament Decorative Light - 360Β° Beam (Golden Glass). Check the dimensions! This truly is "oversized." It is a bulb that can function as the entire light fixture. My daughter has a hanging light cord from IKEA and she has changed out the globe and bulb multiple times for different looks. With this bulb, she doesn't need a globe or shade; the bulb IS the globe! Looks really cool and it perfect for her little seating nook. Read more

This is a greatly oversized, beautiful light bulb. For me, this is second in a series of oversized Edison style bulbs from this manufacturer. While not inexpensive, I still think that these bulbs are exceptionally beautiful making them worth the price. The glass is an amber color and the spiral LED filament makes use of the full height of the bulb. This bulb is a 60W equivalent which is just right for creating mood lighting without being excessively bright. These bulbs look great paired with other large bulbs of different styles in the series. I tried to take a picture of the bulb turned on, but my camera has a hard time with the bright spot of the bulb. My friend's camera did a much better job, which is the last photo I have attached. However, please note that even this does not do justice to this bulb. It looks so much better in real life. I'm in love with these beautiful bulbs and highly recommend them. They don't output large amounts of light, this bulb being just a 60W equivalent, but for mood lighting and as a work of art, these are just perfect. Read more

Great look, but either they were having a horrible manufacturing problem or a design/shipping problem, because 3 of 5 received bulbs (in two shipments) had broken on the inside of the bulb. It certainly seems that the interior structure is not designed to be able to withstand the movement of shipping. Read more
This Edison bulb is DEFINITELY Going to draw attention - it is HUGE! Very very Cool! Plus it is dimmable and yet only draws 7 watts! I have created an area on my porch with a bunch of Edison bulbs - this is by far the largest and most impressive! It says it is good for 11 years (let's hope!) Even though it's a large bulb, it fits a standard lightbulb socket, This oversized Edison LED bulb is a real statement piece. My pics are with other Edison bulbs, but it is so cool it really should be on its own! The golden glass and vintage filament design give off an incredibly warm, inviting amber glow thatβs perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere. At 7W, itβs bright enough at 650 lumens to light a space well, but still soft on the eyes.I love that itβs dimmable, so I can adjust it from a gentle evening ambiance to a brighter setting for reading or gatherings. The large ST164 shape is a conversation starter in itself, and it works beautifully in open fixtures where the bulb can shine (literally and figuratively). Energy-efficient, stylish, and with a full 360Β° beam, it delivers both form and function! WOWZA! Read more

What can I say? I'm 71 and I still love playing with light bulbs, as I did as a kid. Even once sticking my finger in a nightlight socket and shocking the <bad word> outta myself did not deter me from this interest. I've seen bulbs similar to this in the hardware stores, hanging on single outlet wires, and I'm ALMOST compelled to buy them until I look at the price. Also I'm not really sure how I'd explain it to my wife... and where it should go in HER house. But what the heck, I saw this one and decided it was time. To my amazement, my wife loves this bulb as much as I do. She's the one who suggested where it could go (in the faux-vintage "electronical device" shown in the photo), and she put it on display in our FAMILY ROOM. This is high praise, indeed! Anyway, it's cool, and it does put out a lot of light... so you could indeed use it for something other than decoration. It's very warm white, almost golden, particularly if dimmed. In the device in the photo, it is dimmed way down, to about 35 volts... and we keep it on all the time. It dims very smoothly from full on to near zero. Do you need it? No. Do you want it? Yes, if you're reading this review. Just buy it and enjoy it. Definitely recommend! Read more

This thing is comically large, and like a good comic you can't stop smiling when you look at it. The light is a warm amber and a perfect amount for lighting my den while using the computer. It has an old-timey, scientific look and I chose to install it on a device that matches it's unique character. During WWII, the U.S. military created machines that used film to train aviators to take down enemy planes. Called a Gunnery Trainer, they are similar to video games of today, but obviously analog. After the war, an entrepreneur bought hundreds of the machines and modified them to be used as video games in military museums, air shows, etc. One of the modifications was to add a lamp socket on the top with a red light bulb, which was intended to grab people's attention. Today, this is called "attract mode" and it's used in all pinball and video arcade machines. I took out the red bulb and put in this bad boy. It looks amazing and is basically attract mode on steroids. Read more
