I got this water bottle as a Christmas present to myself after my previous one kept getting gross and stinky despite washing it every day. So far this Owala water bottle has exceeded my expectations. The quality is exceptional; it's easy to use and super easy to clean. I love the 2-function spout that lets you sip or chug without having to do anything extra. I have been so hydrated since I started using this. The 24 oz size is perfect, not too big and not too small. It fits in standard cup holders including the ones on the machines at my gym. I love all the different color options and have decorated mine with stickers that so far have (mostly) stayed put. I have 4 Owala water bottles and will continue buying them! They are the only actually leak-proof water bottles I’ve found for kids backpacks. They keep water cold for hours and don’t sweat. I love the handle and the multiple sip options. They come in all sorts of colors and have lasted us a long time. I have had a couple lids break as they’ve been dropped, but they are easily replaced. I absolutely love this Owala FreeSip bottle. The seal is amazing—it never leaks, even when it’s tossed in a bag. The FreeSip lid is super convenient because you can sip through the straw or tilt it to drink, which actually helps me drink more water throughout the day. I waited about a month to get this because the color was so pretty (the only color that really spoke to me in these water bottles!) and I am so glad I did The color is just as beautiful in person as it is in the picture something that I will be proud and happy to carry around with me every day as my every day water bottle I have been wanting one of these for a long time and what I heard is true. The sipping feature makes it a lot more addictive, and easy to grab for when you want to be regularly hydrated. If you are like me and you find it difficult to remember to drink water, for some reason, the simple mechanism of sipping water through the straw is really helpful. It creates a sort of physical reaction that is slightly different from just drinking directly from a straw or from an open mouth bottle— hard to explain but once you get one, you will probably see what I mean! It stays cold for an extremely long time, there was still ice in it over 24 hours later. The seal is solid. It does not leak. The lock works great. The weight is just right. This is an excellent and very practical water bottle. The standout feature is the brilliant spout design, which lets you drink either through a straw or directly like a regular bottle all from the same lid. It’s extremely convenient and something you don’t realize you need until you use it. The insulation is also great. It keeps drinks cold for a long time and maintains heat very well too. I’ve owned and used this water bottle daily for about a year, and for the first 10 months, I absolutely loved it. The design is sleek, it's durable, and it keeps my water cold for a long time. The Hygiene Issue: About two months ago, I noticed mold starting to grow deep within the top seal. I consider myself very diligent about cleaning, but this mold seems trapped in a way that is impossible to reach. I tried deep-cleaning with vinegar, specialized brushes, and even a bleach soak, but nothing worked. The Solution: Because I like the bottle itself so much, I didn't want to toss it, but I also didn't feel safe drinking from it. I ended up having to order a replacement lid/seal piece to keep using it. Verdict: It’s a 5-star bottle for the first year, but be prepared that the seal design may eventually fail and trap mold. I’d recommend it with the caveat that you might need to budget for a replacement top after a year of heavy use. Read more
Great product, holds convienient amount of water that still lets me place it into the cupholder. I actually drink more water because i enjoy having this water bottle so much. Its convienient having straw and also a spout for when water starts to run low. Keeps water cold for the entirety of my day, durable, and such lovely colors. Read more
