The product is thick and rubbery enough to prevent dents and scuffs that tend to happen over time. It also reduces metal clank noise when setting my bottle down, which is great for quiet spaces like offices and libraries. The only downside is that it can make the bottle a bit bulkier. You can just rinse it to clean it, but it does attract lint and dust a little. It's very good quality and still makes it comfortable to hold it from the bottom. I bought it to ensure the bottom of my new Owala bottle doesn't get damaged, and let me tell you, it was incredibly easy to put on! The boot is plenty thick, so I'm confident it will provide the support needed to prevent any damage. Although the color of the boot doesn't exactly match the bottle I got, Owala offers so many vibrant colors that mixing and matching is part of the fun. The boot fits snugly on the bottle and doesn't come off easily, which is great. However, if you need to clean it, you can easily remove it and then put it back on without any issues, and it will still fit just as snugly. Since this boot is made by Owala, you can expect good quality. In fact, it's even cheaper than some of the knock-offs I found on Amazon.
