I have a rug in my sunroom, which is the thoroughfare to my backyard. It’s high traffic area and I have dogs that track in dirt and yard debree. Also, my cat likes to hang out here and as cats do, she pukes up now and then. So, I wanted something to keep my sanity in check, where I wasn't constantly scrubbing the rug and hoping a stain would come out. I also, though wanted something where I can clearly see my rug and I wasn't diffusing it in any way. I was worried that the glossy one would be too reflective (especially in a sun room) and the matte one wouldn't be clear enough for my liking. I decided to bite the bullet and try the matte one. Surprisingly it is super clear. You can see light reflections sometimes, but too annoying where it isn't a good trade off for the protection you get. The plastic is not too thin or thick, giving it the perfect amount of protection and pliability. Some rubbery plastic can be a bit sticky if walking on, this one does not have that issue. Nice mat for your floors but it doesn't stay in place. I have a sick cat so I use it to cover my carpet. I had to use carpet tape to keep it in place. Those little circle dots of tape didn't work. The mat is a nice thickness, not cheap and flimsy. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I'm really pleased with the plastic carpet protector! It seems even better than I expected and it's really easy to clean and durable. The product came with instructions to make it flat, but to be frank, I didn't bother doing that because I'm pretty certain it'll flatten out on its own after a few days. When I unrolled it, I put the curling side face down so the weight of itself helped it flatten, and then I used a couple of the sticky dots attached to secure it. Read more
Combined with a set of computer chair upgraded wheels (basically rollerblade wheels as replacements for your junk castors) this thing is like sailing across a soft silent cloud when you push away from the desk. My ass never felt something so smooth! Ummm, yeah so anyways. Be careful, though!! With that wheel upgrade and this plastic mat... things become very fast. So what used to be a shove away from the desk on your previous setup, would now send you through the walls and saying hello intrusively to whoever is on the other side of that wall!! You've been warned so shove gently if your desk is near a window in a tall ass building somewhere. In all honesty this was a great buy and totally worth it. Read more
I originally ordered one to see how it worked. When the box came, it contained a window shade. So, I had to go through the trouble of sending it back and wait for a rug. Finally got the rug and loved it so ordered more. They came and worked great to protect my painted floor in my shop so I hit the reorder button and got two more boxes this week. The problem is, They were half as long as the other two I ordered so I way over paid. I'm tired of dealing with it so I just put them on the floor and said the hell with it.
