OXO Good Grips 3-Tier Aluminum Shower Caddy

I purchased this for my daughter's dorm room shower. It's a great space saving by and storage item. She's able to keep her things in the shared shower without taking up much space. Her roommate and her both use it so it works well for them. It seems to be good quality but then again it is an OXO product which one would expect would be better quality than some off brand item. Having used this product for over a year now, I'm very pleased with my purchase. At first I hesitated to get it because of the price. However, I would not hesitate to buy it again (although I won't need to!) No rust, no stains, and no mold whatsoever. The smaller model has ample storage space for us, but we don't need many different shower products, just one bar of soap and two shampoo bottles. It provides plenty of hooks for our two loofah sponges. There's also a shelf for a razor, though we don't use it. However, for a family of four, the larger model might be a better choice, especially if every family member prefers a different shampoo, conditioner, or soap. The only flaw (and a negligible one for us) is that the suction attachment for the shower wall is prone to release after a while. It works best if it is attached at an angle rather than straight, but must still be reattached periodically. It's easy to reattach, but I wonder why it isn't more substantial. Still, everything else about this caddy is highly satisfactory (and the hook at the top keeps the caddy in place even when the suction attachment has released), and a rust-free caddy is such a joy. No more replacing a shower caddy every year certainly justifies the cost! Highly recommend! Read more

This is a real winner. I hate cheap steel or plastic shower caddies. This one is all aluminum with a plastic suction cup holder. It screams quality and will clean and last a long time. I have a funny install with a bulky removable shower head and metal hose. There are many adjustments as it hangs off the shower head neck and suctions at the bottom give a little more stability and alignment. The only thing I would change, is adding a second razor hook on the opposing side. Read more

I ran into a few issues with this product. Firstly, do make sure you measure. I had a problem where once I hung it over the showerhead it hung so low it obstructed the hot and cold water handles. I played around with sticking it to the tiles in different positions, but unfortunately, without an added hook higher than the shower head it'd be unusable. This is what I ended up doing to be able to hang it. Secondly, once I unstuck and stuck it a couple of times the suction cups would no longer stick. I tried different methods to get it to work again but all my Google solutions failed. When I contacted the company they told me the only recourse was to return it for a replacement, which I am currently waiting on. The item itself though is sturdy, attractive, and holds a fair amount of items. If I didn't like it I would just return it for a refund, but I like it enough to give it a 2nd chance.
