This bag is perfect for daily use. I've had mine for almost 3 years and use it all the time. It is small enough to carry easily but it is large enough to fit everything you need. It looks great, is well built and has tons of pockets. There is no dedicated bottle holder on the side but the largest pocket can easily hold a large water bottle. I easily carry a tablet (8.7"), my kindle, a notepad and pen, 2 portable chargers, a large water bottle and more. There are at least 5 or 6 other zippered pockets to carry additional items. Needed a cross body bag with minimum 6L interior storage, and at least some modular ability to add things to the outside (e.g., first aid kit). This bag works perfectly for the functional needs. Nice thick shoulder strap (adjustable left or right shoulder), although the strap is a bit long. I'm 5'10", medium build, and it sits just a touch lower on my back than I would like even fully tightened. Plenty of pockets for various sized items, outside as well as inside the main compartment. Loops and other exterior pieces can be used for added carrying capacity. The zipper pulls (of which there are many) are all metal, and very noisy. Not from a hypothetical, "need to be stealthy" kind of perspective - I mean picking the bag up the first time sounded like holding a small string of sleigh bells. You could provide background foley work for a Christmas movie just by shaking the bag. Originally tried to dampen the sound by putting electrical tape around each pull, but that didn't totally get rid of it, although it did help. Finally I ordered a $5 pack of nylon/plastic zipper pulls, snipped off each metal one with wire cutters, and replaced them. Took 10 minutes, and now it's completely silent (and the nylon zipper pulls are better anyways). Between that and the fixed length strap (can't shorten past manufacturing length), not a full five star bag. This little thing is what I call a pack. A real pack. It fits what I need in snug as a bug I’ve got all my every day needs in it and still have room for an iPad mini. I’ve thouroighky enjoyed using this thing.. THE ONLY and I mean ONLY thing I don’t like is the LOUD metal Zippers. Not the zipper stitch but the dangly bit that thing clacks all around all day. Perfect size! Not too big not too small. Very good distribution of pockets and side accesory attachments. Side pockets a bit tight but good enough! Added my own zipper pulls.
