The Palate is a Wonderland
This ORGANIC roasted red pepper, tomato soup is -- to my primal palate -- the most delicious, delightful, truly succulent soup that I have ever tasted. A genuine comfort food. It is so soothing upon my taste buds that I am eagerly melting into each & every sip. Really. Under my tongue that exquisite flavor of the deliciously roasted red pepper lands & lingers VERY nicely. I like to use a 16 ounce coffee mug, which mug I notice that I tend to not put down -- until empty -- most of the time. No spoon needed. My favorite soup by far. Thus far. I cannot hardly imagine a more pleasurable stand-alone soup. I have found that when other ingredients are added for taste variations, the possible dimensions in flavor-excitations can be really sumptuous. The first additions that I have enjoyed together are: Granulated ORGANIC garlic & tender baby peas, to taste. So tasty! And another addition I've made to that same combination has been black truffle zest, but the proper amount of truffle zest is a fine line -- I will add a tiny bit more than I did last time. Those three ingredients make for a complex & WOW cup of soup. Fresh chopped white onion, about 1 tablespoon, strikes a chord right now, & I plan on finding out the most complimentary nature of these four additional ingredients -- first -- one at a time, as well as in their respective combinations.
