Our consumer culture has really gotten me used to the idea of planned obsolescence. So few of our things really last any more and I've grown to expect that. Frankly, I'm so used tot he idea that I kind of enjoy replacing things. So what is a 21st century consumer to do when they encounter a product that has been so beautifully designed and engineered to last for a hundred years? Look until you find the one thing that needs replacing! I never thought about the gaskets on my Moka and sure enough, it was gross and brown since it had never been replaced over the course of a decade. I eagerly purchased this product and threw away the old filter. The new filter fit like new and it still makes espresso like a champion. Did it need to be replaced? Maybe. Is that the reason I replaced it? Not really. Please note that I haven't tasted the gasket, so I couldn't rate this item's 'Flavor' Read more

When I initially looked into purchasing a replacement gasket/ring, I thought the sizing (1 cup, 3/4 cups, etc...) was a measure of capacity and ended up ordering a size too small. By measuring the outside diameter of the gasket/ring as pictured, I ended up ordering the correct 3/4 size for my Bialetti Dama moka maker. Replacing the gasket/ring was as easy as prying off the old seal and then pushing the new seal in for a good fit. You could probably replace the metal filter at the same time, but if there's no need then I would recommend you just stick with your current metal filter and keep the new metal filter as backup. Note: there was the smallest bit of wiggle room with the new seal, but I expect the seal to expand and compress over time. First brew out the gate was perfect, no issues. Read more

Step 1 - figure out what size Moka pot you have Step 2 - order that size! My original gasket wore out for my 3 cup Moka pot so after a couple years of daily use, it was time to order a replacement. I wasn't sure what size I had, but after a quick search online, it was obvious I had the 3 cup model. These gaskets and the replacement filter are legit Bialeiti items. Figure out what size you need and you will not be steered wrong! Worth noting for those of you having trouble with coffee leaking during the brew process, make sure you don't overfill it with coffee as in my experience, grounds will overflow and compromise the seal. Make sure the grooves of the bottom and top piece are totally clean and then screw it in tight! Read more

I have the 3 cup Bialetti Moka Express coffee pot. This set came with 3 rubber rings and a filter plate. The rings are not exactly like the old ring that I replaced. I have had and used my Moka pot since 2010 (was interesting, to say the least, to see all the espresso oil gunk that had accumulated), The new set does fit and it does work. It’s just not as snug of fit as the old ring and filter. I am not having any leaking from the join. I’ve been using the new ring and filter daily for a little over a month and all is good. I also feel better about being able to easily remove ring and filter plate to clean more often (every few months vs. every few decades) Shipping was fast and item received was the same as pictured/described. I like the bialetti moka pot. Actually, my wife does love it. Rubber gasket warn out while I use the pot for around several month. You can extend the life of the gasket by flip it for a couple of more months. Gasket needs to be replaced eventually and I bought this. I was very pleased because there were three gaskets in the package and that means I am good for next couple of years to use my moka pot with no problem. I guess this is a pretty good deal for $6. By the way, this gasket is for 3cup bialetti moka pot, which is the smallest one of the lines. Please make double check with your pot's size and chose right sized gaskets if yours is bigger than 3cup. Read more

I was in a rush and completely forgot to put water in my moka pot, therefore ruining the gasket. I have a 3 cup moka pot and this works. I was an afraid since it says it was a frequently returned item, however it fits perfect and does what the previous gasket/filter does. I also like it comes with extra! I will keep you up to date if anything happens 1/18/24 Read more

I have three Bialetti Moka Express pots, 9 cup, 6 cup and 3 cup. Once I tried a different brand of gaskets, and they were half the thickness, so ever since I buy Bialetti only. I try to change the gasket every six months when using a moka pot daily, but somehow, this time it was over 2 years. Of late, I had been wondering why, even with my favorite premium coffee, it wasn't tasting or brewing quite right. Ordered these, pried out the horribly disfigured and discolored old gasket that was quite degraded, and put in the new gasket and filter. Then I made my coffee - having changed nothing but the gasket and filter. Wow! What a difference in my coffee! Never again will I let it go so long in between gasket changes! These are Bialetti brand - don't buy anything else - thick, perfect fit. Nice low price for three gaskets and filter. Very satsified. Read more

I bought these replacement gaskets to fit an older 3 cup Bialetti Moka Express. Reading all the negative reviews about leaking I was concerned that they wouldn’t work. At first I was having the same issue as others - coffee leaking at the middle, all the water wasn’t pushed through, etc. I also tightened the top to the bottom as much as I could but that didn’t work. Intuitively I knew that I wasn’t installing it correctly so I decided to Google it. Turns out, I put the filter in upside down which was causing the gasket to not fit properly. After installing the filter correctly, it worked perfectly. No leaking, no sputtering. Read more
