Bought this to wear to work. It's very comfy, and stretchy. It is pretty loose in the waist but with the tie it is very flattering. I wrap it around the back, and then tie it in the front, and it cinches nicely around my waist without being too fitted. The color doesn't show well in my photo, but it's a beautiful shade of green. I personally would have liked it a bit longer, as it hits just above my knee. But the length is fine and perfectly appropriate for work. The material is stretchy and soft, and is thick and feels well made rather than being very thin and see through like a lot of garments you can buy online. And pockets!!!! Read more

I absolutely love this dress. I now own two in two different colors (well technically three unless I decide to return one). I want to note though that there is a full size difference between the two colors! I first ordered a L in the olive green color. Fit perfectly. So I ordered the same size in dark grey. It is TIGHT. Now it could look good as a different look, possibly with some shapewear underneath. Or leggings. But it doesn't have the comfy, easy fit of the other one. So I ordered the next size up. The XL in dark grey fits me exactly the same way the green one does. So something is amiss there. However I like the style so much I'm not knocking the dress - I just want people to know in case they happen to be ordering the same colors. That said, I want to say that this is a great style for the curvy ladies (by curvy I don't mean overweight, although I happen to be that too at the moment; I mean smaller waist larger hips and perhaps a bit of a tummy). It emphasizes the waistline and hides any extra cushion - just really, really flattering especially for something so comfortable. I wear this dress confidently with flip flops, flats, or booties so it can be dressed up or down. It cleans well too. Ignore on the tag where it says to dry clean. I bought the XL, I'm 5'4" 180 lbs. I really like the style/shape of the dress. I'm pretty blessed in the chest and the way the sleeves lie help balance me out. The fit is perfect, nice length for my height. Might be a smidgen too short for someone taller; at least too short for the office. This length is perfect on me. The color of the dress is a little lighter in color than expected, but I still like it. I don't completely love the attached belt. Kind of limits the ways I can style it; I like try different color belts, etc. I should be able to dress it up with heels or wear it with cute loafers or sneakers for a more casual look. I will probably by it in another color too, but may search for one with a removable belt. Read more

I love this dress so much that I bought another in gray stripe. As others have noted, it doesn't look like anything special when you take it out of the package. It looks shapeless and way too big. However, once you put it on and cinch the waist with the belt. it looks fabulous. I love the cotton/poly blend fabric, which helps reduce wrinkles and makes this a great dress to pack for travel. And the pockets! The pockets! Don't get me started, every dress should have pockets like these. I'm 5'2", 116 pounds, and the small fits just right, in length and width. The reviews of this dress are all over the map: too small, too large, too long, too short, soft. scratchy, thick material, thin material, see through, not see through, poorly made, well made, the belts are too short or are long enough . It's pretty clear this dress is made from whatever materials are available and sewn by different workers. I decided to cross my fingers and roll the dice. I am very thin, 105 lbs. The xs fits fine. The fabric is soft, not scratchy and not see through. I was pleasantly surprised to see the narrow stripes match from front to back. The fabric content tag on mine shows 65% cotton and 35% poly, no lycra, but it is stretchy. The tag recommends professional dry clean. If you look at posted photos from buyers of the wide stripe dress, the stripes rarely match, which to me, looks awful. The neckline of the dress I received is smaller than the posted photo and mine has no top-stitching on the pockets as shown on the post. I am fairly satisfied with this dress and will keep it.
