So yes I am in fact a guy, to get things started, but that doesn't mean that I can't desire to have softer and smoother skin. Let's be real though, ultimately softer and healthier looking skin is more attractive and more beneficial to your physical appearance in the long run. Just by using this lotion alone once a day, for the past week, I would say the overall feel of my skin is definitely noticeably smoother and softer. Even the ole' kneecaps and feet remain smooth throughout MOST of the day, but I find that sometimes I do have to reapply once more before I retire to bed. Basically this lotion gives you the moisturizing benefit of something similar to Vaseline, without the extra greasy feel and shiny look afterwards. Not to mention it has a very light fragrance that dicipates within ten minutes or so after applying, but it definitely DOES NOT leave you smelling like you've been completely submerged in cocoa butter lotion. So any fragrance from a body cologne or spray that you may want to use afterwards will be unaffected by using this product. Simply put this is an all around great fragrance free lotion for both women and men alike if you desire to have softer and smoother skin. Very highly recommended. Read more

I have been a fan on the unscented Palmer's Lotion for many years and use many of their other products. This is great if you're sensitive to smells or don't want a heavy cocoa butter smell to interfere with your own perfume or scents. It goes on well and keeps you moisturized all day (until you wash your hands again of course.) It works great for dry sensitive skin. However, I sometimes pair it with their cocoa butter body oil during the winter months for extra coverage on drier areas during the winter. I am also a fan of the bulk purchase through Amazon which is cheaper than buying individually in the drug store. TIP: In the past, I have had some with defective pumps, so I tend to keep the last pump whenever I open a new one in case the new open doesn't work. It's not a huge problem, just a tip not to throw out the last pump with the lotion bottle in case you need to re-use it. Palmer's has changed the packaging on its items over time, but its quality remains and I recommend this product and others from Palmer's to everyone. TIP: I travel a lot. So, instead of buying a travel size (which often doesn't come in unscented) I buy a 3 oz squeeze bottle and pump it full of the lotion so I always have it with me and don't have to resort to a brand or scented lotion instead. I have been a Palmer's user for many years. As a child growing up in Central Florida in the late '70s, before we understood the need for sunscreen and instead used the Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion to get a deeper tan to a woman in her forties and fifties when a case of eczema and severe psoriasis had me running to a dermatologist. Having asked what products I used on my skin, she quickly told me to stop using Palmer's lotion, recommended a lotion without any added fragrance and certain ingredients that tend to aggravate my skin issues. She could not believe it when I brought her the bottle of Palmer's lotion actually was fragrance free and free of other ingredients that commonly cause patients with my issues could actually fit her requirements though it clearly smelled of cocoa. I continue to use their lotion to this day. My confidence in the brand led me to try the face oil and even though it had a smell of rose hips, worked remarkably well too. The fragrance of the body oil that I had hoped would be like it is the reason I would not recommend it unfortunately for me, but that is not this product. I would recommend the lotion to anyone. I would warn you that the only thing that is wrong with it is the lotion is so thick that is difficult to get it to come out of the pump in the bottle. I immediately remove the inside of the pump and tip the bottle upside down and take the cap off to squish some out. I don't find that to be much of a bother. Palmer's Fragrance Free Cocoa Butter Lotion is well worth the wait. I have also left the company my review and sincerely hope that it can improve upon the one product and know that they have a proven fan in me. Read more

I should have bought stock in this product before becoming pregnant, because I've re-ordered this item so frequently throughout my pregnancy. Love that there is no scent (the scented version made me nauseous), and that it's not greasy, while still being incredibly moisturizing. I use it morning and night all over my body, and have yet to get stretch marks at 32 weeks pregnant. I will continue using this throughout the remainder of my pregnancy, and postpartum. My husband has even started using it and loves it. Would definitely recommend. Read more

The lotion is VERY nice. It makes my hands feel nice and soft, and I like to use it after a shower on my arms and legs. It is not quite fragrance-free; the fragrance is mild and pleasantly chocolate. My cat loves to smell it! This was my original review:I saw the other two reviews that said the pumps did not work on the bottle but assumed the problem would have been fixed, since the reviews were almost 2 years old. It hasn't. I now have 4 bottles with non-working pumps. I tried to see if a pump from another bottle around the house might fit, but this bottle does not seem to be very standard. Here is my update: Since I liked the lotion so much I decided to keep using it by shaking the bottle until some lotion poured out. This is NOT easy, because it is VERY thick. It has been about a week, and this morning I unthinkingly pumped the pump.It worked!! My theory is that the lotion's thickness makes it very difficult to "prime" the pump, but it seems to be fine now. So my advice is to be patient and shake it a lot. HOWEVER, I give the Palmer company itself VERY poor marks for customer service.I sent an e-mail the first day I had the problem, but it has not been acknowledged. Read more
