I've always been a big fan of Palmer's cocoa butter lotions in my younger years and hadn't used their stuff in a while. I saw that there was a product of theirs that is similar to a different, more expensive thing. This appears to be the same product they released- Tahitian Vanilla- but in a bottle for half the price. I think it's been a long time since I've used their products; I was really just looking for a good price when I bought this. There isn't much of a scent to it- in fact it smells more like cocoa butter than vanilla. There's a tiny bit of vanilla scent to it so I guess like other people said, it's probably good for layering or whatever. The scent definitely isn't bad at all. It moisturizes relatively well but perhaps I'm more used to greasier lotions bc it doesn't feel like it moisturizes as well as other stuff might. I usually like petroleum-based products lately. If you want a non greasy moisturizer with a very light scent, this is for you. It definitely feels like it's thick enough with shea butter and cocoa butter though.
