Got this for my son because he has an issue with sneaking toys and electronics to school that he knows he isn't supposed to be taking. It's great, the material is thick and it is waterproof...because it's plastic. Money well spent, it has a lot of room he is in 5th grade so he has binder and notebooks, plus whatever book he is reading this week.
