I usually don’t write much reviews but I feel compelled to do so about these almost perfect sleepers. I used to wear this very kind of sleepers for numerous decades while I was in Europe where they are more common than here in the US. I was desperate to find them here without having to wait for a trip overseas. These are exactly like the ones made in Italy that are high end sleepers!! From outside to outside I can feel that the leather and finish are what I was expecting. About the size, mine is 9 (42.5-43) they are true to size and fit perfectly. One more thing, this kind of sleepers are intended for a loose fit and these ones are just right in this department for an average feet. Have owned this style slipper for decades, always buy a pair when visiting Italy/Europe. See photo for comparative against my now very worn out European purchase from 2019. Ordered the most expensive from this maker, but returning because of the extreme width! Quality appears top notch, however no 'wide' or 'narrow' option on this item. Pictures on this listing don't reflect their 'wide stance'. Ordered a '9' for my husband, they fit me better, size '9' still too 'loosey goosey' but he likes them okay. Note the box says EU44 and I'm a 42 so perhaps this is a little bit of the issue. Now buying their half price version to see if they may be different as there is a '10' and '10 WIDE'. I wear slippers most of the day. (When ever I am home) I have had many at high and low prices. The style is weak, compared to exotic slippers. As far as the product goes, they are VERY comfortable. Fit to size. They stay on feet nicely. Also are malleable. So they move and bend more than other slippers. This will make them more durable. Read more

My shoe size is 8 & 1/2, ordered a 9. Even after I rammed my foot as far forward as possible, 1/2 an inch of my heel hung off the back. The toe box is not designed for the natural shape of this part of the foot. Upon walking the rear sole dragged on the floor. The upper was far too large an opening for the fore foot, failing to "grasp" the foot and thus allowing the slipper to wobble about with every step.
