Initial cost is a bit steep, but they are holding up great and I'm sure they will pay themselves off in a couple of years. The adapters are awesome, granted a AA doesnt last as long as a D or C battery but then again you can swap another in while it charges. It's also very environmentally friendly, not littering some trash dump with spent alkaline materials. Read more

Eveloop has the best recharge batteries. other brand of rechargeable seem to get a "memory" and not have a good voltage after a few recharges. i never seem to have a problem with eveloop. they are made in japan with a great QA process. They say that they have a 1,500-cycle recharging but I'm way behind that, the ones i got back in 2010 (second gen) are still going strong. Read more
