Prior to this purchase, I had a reciprocating blade style trimmer from Philips, which turned out to be pretty mediocre at trimming nose hairs. This trimmer is way more effective, gets into the "nooks," doesn't leave nicks, and also doesn't leave irritating pointy stubble. It is a very cheaply made device, but that doesn't seem to make it any less effective. When you first pick up the box, you think, "Man, this thing has some weight to it. It must be well-made!" When you open the box, though, a thick instruction manual is actually the bulk of the weight, which is pretty funny. I can’t believe this is a Panasonic product. Panasonic has always been the best for me, even in previous nose hair trimmers. This hardly can cut any hairs in my nose, even long obvious ones. I have to resort to going back to my old no name one from China to cut the hairs. Does Panasonic have this running in reverse? Read more
