Powerful, quick heating/reheating of food. Sensing function automatically senses when food is hot and heats as much as necessary. Child lock function is on by default (locks door after heating) can be disabled as explained in the booklet by hitting turbo defrost, timer, popcorn. This gets re-enabled after a power loss. Great value, much better quality than cheap models found at local retail stores. Clean look, functions better than the cheap ones, easy to read and understand buttons, quiet operation and fairly loud end beep. Easy to clean inside and out. We love it. Read more

My nine year old Panasonic Microwave stopped working. I had been pleased with it but the only “repair facility” was over 60 miles away. I ordered the “Newest” similar model (NN-SN98JS). This is a countertop model but it was built into a cabinet using the Panasonic trim kit and mounting hardware. After two months the interior light went out. My research on how to replace the light revealed that Panasonic uses an LED “module” which must be replaced by an authorized Panasonic repair facility. They will not sell these modules to individuals. My unit is under warranty, but Panasonic information says that the customer must pay for shipping to the facility but they will cover return shipping. Shipping is $50 from my house to their closest repair facility! Then I tried to request a “service authorization” from their website in order to have the work done under warranty. Their “Bot” system put me into a continuous loop! Then I tried three times to complete an online “comment” explaining my situation but right at the end it kept dropping out causing me to start over each time. We replaced an older (at least 10 years) that started to peel paint inside. I think this newer model has better interior surface. I love the Panasonic. Fits perfectly in my cabinite. Read more

Overall a very nice microwave (so far at least-time will tell). Pros: 1. It's BIG! 2. It heats food very quickly and evenly. 3. Looks pretty sleek. Cons: 1. It is really hard to see inside while you're cooking the food. 2. Ships with child door lock on (required by law) - easy enough to disable if you RTM. 3. This replaced our previous Panasonic that just died one day. This one cost more than the previous one but it lasted 9 years so I hope this one does as well. This one is a dark gray inside which seemed odd at first. But, I suppose the color doesn't really matter. The reheat function works great. I've used it to reheat several different types of items and all were heated perfectly. We've only had it a short time but we're happy with it so far. The only thing some may find annoying is the auto lock feature. This can be disabled easily enough if you read the book that comes with it. I'd recommend this oven. Read more

Great microwave. Heats much faster than my other ones. Only issue i had was that child lock. Took me days to find the right programming online to cut it off. It resets every time the electric goes out, so save the process on your cell. Read more

Loved at 1st. < 1yr the door doesn't open most of time. Find, probably too big for 2 peeps. Also would like to have quick 1min or so heat up buttons which this also does not have. Read more
