Good microwave; integrates smoothly with Alexa
Have found Panasonic microwaves to work well. This microwave is a high powered microwave. Fortunately, first choice on the user interface is to set the cooking power level. I find I heat food at half power most of the time. Food comes out evenly heated. Reducing the power level reduces the amount of energy delivered, instead of cycling the magnetron on/off as less expensive microwaves do. IMHO, this leads to better cooking. Liquids can be heated quickly using full power. Integration with Alexa was straightforward. Don't use Alexa to control the microwave all of the time, but it's a convenient feature. For an older or visually challenged person it's an excellent feature to have. User interface is intuitive. Never pulled the manual. Just started using it. User interface shows pre-programmed food specific choices. This is a welcome change from former model I owned. Door lock requires two button pushes after cooking. New child-safety feature. I understand the reasons, but it takes some getting used to. Read more
