From Rice to Casseroles & Everything In between - A Reliable Partner for Large Batch Cooking
As someone who frequently cooks large batches of food for groups, I can confidently say that this commercial rice cooker is a fantastic option, not only for commercial use but also for home cooking enthusiasts. This cooker is solid, heavy-duty, and extremely well-made, reflecting its superior build quality. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. In terms of performance, this has been by far the best rice cooker I've ever used. It turns off at the perfect time with no burning, making it reliable and efficient. But this device isn't just for cooking rice. I've used it for various large batch recipes, including chicken casserole, chili, oatmeal, and even frittata. Its versatility is truly impressive. Although it only has an "On" and "Warm" option, if you keep in mind the typical temperatures of a commercial rice cooker in the "On" position (around 212°F or 100°C) and in the "Warm" position (around 150-180°F or 65-82°C), compared to a slow cooker on "Low" (190-200°F or 88-93°C) or "High" (200-300°F or 93-149°C), you can adjust the cooking time and change settings as needed during the cooking process. Just remember to check and stir occasionally, especially for recipes with multiple ingredients, to ensure even cooking and prevent sticking. For large batches, check every 20-30 minutes. Stir gently to distribute heat and flavors evenly. This rice cooker has become a staple in my kitchen for preparing delicious, large batch meals I plan to freeze or share with ease. As well as for when I’m cooking for large group functions and gatherings. Its performance and versatility make it a worthwhile investment for anyone who loves to cook. Read more
