As someone who frequently cooks large batches of food for groups, I can confidently say that this commercial rice cooker is a fantastic option, not only for commercial use but also for home cooking enthusiasts. This cooker is solid, heavy-duty, and extremely well-made, reflecting its superior build quality. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. In terms of performance, this has been by far the best rice cooker I've ever used. It turns off at the perfect time with no burning, making it reliable and efficient. But this device isn't just for cooking rice. I've used it for various large batch recipes, including chicken casserole, chili, oatmeal, and even frittata. Its versatility is truly impressive. Although it only has an "On" and "Warm" option, if you keep in mind the typical temperatures of a commercial rice cooker in the "On" position (around 212°F or 100°C) and in the "Warm" position (around 150-180°F or 65-82°C), compared to a slow cooker on "Low" (190-200°F or 88-93°C) or "High" (200-300°F or 93-149°C), you can adjust the cooking time and change settings as needed during the cooking process. Just remember to check and stir occasionally, especially for recipes with multiple ingredients, to ensure even cooking and prevent sticking. For large batches, check every 20-30 minutes. Stir gently to distribute heat and flavors evenly. This rice cooker has become a staple in my kitchen for preparing delicious, large batch meals I plan to freeze or share with ease. As well as for when I’m cooking for large group functions and gatherings. Its performance and versatility make it a worthwhile investment for anyone who loves to cook. Read more

For someone that meal preps homemade dog food, this commercial rice cooker is amazing!!!!!!! It’s so much easier than trying to make rice on the stove. I don’t have to sit there and stir it to make sure it doesn’t burn. I just pour the rice and water in the cooker and walk away. It does all the cooking for me! It worked fabulous! It’s a little messy on the outside of the lid where the vent hole is. That’s to be expected because the steam needs a way to escape. It’s really basic and simple but it works wonderfully and I’m so happy with it. It’s huge and it takes up a lot of space in my house but again, because I meal prep 3+ months of dog food for my dogs, it is perfect for me. It also keeps the rice warm for hours which is handy. Warm rice is easier to scoop than cold hard rice so I like that I can keep it warm until I’m ready to distribute it into individual meal bags. I highly recommend this for anyone that needs to make large quantities of rice. It works great and has come in so handy for me. Read more

I wanted a rice cooker so that I could have one to make all my meal preps in one sitting. I have had family members who have one and swear by it. So when i saw it I immediately ordered it. I did not pay attention to the fact that it was a commercial size until it arrived at the house. When it arrived I was shocked at how big it actually was. The cooker can do a size of 1 cup of rice to 64 cups of rice at one time. It comes with all the directions to use it and also a rice paddle to use to get the rice out. It is super easy to use and makes cooking rice super time saving. I now can do my meal prep and not have to worry about sitting over the stove to cook it. The rice comes out perfect every time, if you follow the directions. I absolutely love this machine and can't believe I waited this long to actually get one. If you are one who cooks alot of rice then you need the regular size one in your life. But this size will come in handy when I make food for all the parties that we have in the family. Read more

This commercial rice maker is huge! But now we're only making rice once a week where we were having to make rice 2-3 times a week to feed our family. Here are some things worth knowing about this rice maker: 1. It's ETL certified. Rated 1550 watts. 2. There's no off switch. There's only a "keep warm" and "cook" lever. 3. You get a massive paddle to go with this rice maker, and a 1 cup dry measuring cup. 4. There's an instruction booklet, but it could use more information like approximate cooking times. 5. It takes about 40 minutes to cook a batch of rice. Then you need to let it set for 15 minutes to finish "steam" cooking. Summary: The rice this cooker made was moist and cooked thoroughly with no over-cooking or burnt rice pieces. We're very pleased with this cooker. I'd recommend this brand of cooker to my friends/family. Read more

This Panda Commercial Large Capacity Rice Cooker & Warmer handles 30 cups raw (60 cups cooked) with a 1500W motor, designed for heavy-duty use in busy kitchens. Pros: It churns out huge batches of rice — fluffy, evenly cooked, no burnt bits. The 30-cup raw capacity (60 cooked) is spot-on for feeding a crowd, and the stainless steel inner pot heats evenly every time. Switching from cook to warm mode is automatic, keeping rice moist and ready for hours without overcooking. Cleanup’s simple—the non-stick pot lifts out, and the exterior wipes down fast. At 120V/1500W, it’s powerful yet efficient, and the ETL listing adds peace of mind for safety. The included paddle and measuring cup are practical extras. Easy to use. Shortcomings: There’s no power switch — plugging it in starts the warmer, which feels clunky for a commercial unit. Cooking takes about 40 minutes, plus 15 more to steam, so it’s not the fastest for rush jobs. The warmer isn’t hot enough for strict food safety regs in some restaurant settings — rice can get soggy by day’s end. Read more
