Ok, this is a damn lot of grapes! Three pounds is more than I expected. But even better than the quantity is the quality. So, let's start by saying that I have worked in a number of grocery stores over the years and usually I worked in the produce department. Because of this experience, I am very picky about produce. The thought of ordering it online is not at all a palatable notion to me. But there are times these days when I just don't want to go outside and face the world. (Let's face it, the world is becoming less and less inviting every year.) So, one day when I really wanted some grapes, I decided to go ahead and give Amazon a try. I ordered a lot of stuff, not just grapes, and it all came very quickly. And much to my surprise, the grapes were perfect. Big and juicy, tasty, so sweet. Little red orbs of perfection. (A note on the "seedless" claim. No, they aren't actually seedless. No grape is seedless. They all have seeds but the seeds are underdeveloped. They are so small and soft that the go unnoticed. So if you happen to see little seeds in these grapes, don't get upset. They are edible.) Read more
Most of the time, these grapes are round and huge, there were times when they were round and small, and times when they are oval and look like all other seedless grapes on the market, but I have never received moldy rotten grapes, or have seen any seeds, they are sweet and crunchy when you bite into them, not soft and watery. I started buying 1 package a week for my grandchildren, they are so popular with family and friends that now I am buying 3 to 4 packages a week. Never found them in local stores, and I tried doing curbside pickup with Fresh store, and the grapes were not at all near the same as what I get when ordering online delivery here in my area, they are always fresh sweet and crunchy. I have been purchasing them weekly and I hope that this quality never changes, my granddaughters look forward to them weekly. Update 12/03/23 These grapes have always been listed here with the OceanSpray label. It says I purchased these 43 times, which means 43 weekends at 3 to 5 packages each weekend, all this time, I had never received the OceanSpray label until this past weekend, 3 packages. They were not edible, they were picked way, way to soon, hard and very sour, they say product of Puru, so did many of the other brands I had received, but I am assuming that its not just the area its the quality of the vineyard, the knowhow of the people working the vineyard and how much the company distributing cares about the quality its selling. These grapes might of been as great as the past purchased if they were left to ripen longer, but things got rushed to market. Since there is no way to control ahead of purchasing what you are actually getting, at 10.00 a box, sadly this was my last grape purchase at Amazon Fresh. My past purchases do deserve the 5 stars I am leaving for the rating, but the ones received this weekend from OceanSpray, do not even deserve 1 star. Read more
Delicious, plump, and juicy grapes! The texture and flavor of these groups were sweet and spot on. I have a hard time finishing a big container of grapes but these were delicious and happily devoured. I love that it tasted like a sweet candy but still a healthy option. There were a couple of bruised grapes but very few were saved from my digestive juices haha! Read more

If you like black cherries, you should like these grapes. The taste and texture is similar just without the annoying seeds! Which I love! These grapes are a nice snack! Read more
Hopefully final update: Yay! Ocean Spray red grapes have finally returned to Amazon Fresh!!! Can we just take a minute to celebrate?? 😁🎉 I've been so hoping they would bring them back, and had to convince myself to order red grapes one last time in hopes of getting Ocean Spray. Low and behold, they're hee-ere. They're so superior in quality to the others they've been using as substitutes. Thank you Amazon Fresh, I'm accepting this as my Christmas present. 🤣 Second update: To start with these are not the Ocean Spray brand and haven't been for some time. They briefly returned to Ocean Spray but only for a few weeks. Now it's a brand I'm not familiar with and other than one time they've always been old, soft, soggy, and because they've aged they're always so sweet. Too sweet! It's as if they started with the perfect grape and allowed them to sit for so long they ends up with a poor quality product. I love the grapes so much and a trio to the grocery store is no longer convenient for me so I hate to stop ordering them. That along with the fact that I keep hoping they'll return to Ocean Spray since they continue to use the name in the advertisement. I'm going to order I've more time and if they're still the same I'll find a way to get them from the grocery store. I may have to sacrifice having them everyday and switch to something else for dessert. Disappointed. This is an update of the previous review. I don't know how or why it happened but I'm so glad Ocean Spray is back at Amazon!!! I haven't been happy since they changed vendors, the new brand just didn't measure up to Ocean Spray. I was hesitant to say anything when they delivered them last week because I didn't know if it was permanent it but but when i received them again this week i was so happy. I hope they're back permanently now. Deceptive advertising... Not Ocean Spray grapes! I like to have a small bunch of grapes in place of sweets for dessert every day. Ordinarily I get Ocean Spray which is what's advertised. This time I received the brand Truly Fresh, they're tiny, bitter, tart... Just not good... Nor are they Ocean Spray! I was hoping this was a one-time-only thing but I've ordered them twice at my address and a third time when I was staying at a friend's house while house-sitting. Her home is a good distance away and in the suburbs and they were still the Truly Fresh brand. I've just ordered green grapes and while I'm hopeful they'll be the Ocean Spray brand I know there's a good chance they'll be the Truly Fresh brand. If Amazon is using a different company they should change the ad to the new name and label. Read more
