I really love these kinds of fasteners, and this set is great because it comes in three different sizes. A family member ordered this product and I told them it would be total trash. It looked like a total joke. I've used hook and loop ties on our cables for many years and felt that meets our needs for keeping them organized and together. After putting these into use, however, I stand corrected. They are really quite good. They are stretchy, strong, easy to use, and they stay in place. I can see their appeal over a scratchy hook/loop closure and they have a cutesy, sort of fun feel. My main rule with a cable tie is that it has to stay on the cable. My children have a million cables all over the house and no one could clean them up, put them away, and keep them even remotely organized if the mechanism that is used to wrangle the cable were to come off every time you unwrapped it. These are better than I anticipated because of the way the round circle at the end can be stretched to fit over the end of the cable, so it stays attached, even when the cord is unhooked and in use. Bingo! Works like a charm. That one feature makes most of the difference for me. From there, the stretchy silicone can fit over or around a variety of cables and then secures with the heart clasp through the slide. Works great, stays put, doesn't take up too much space, and is cuter than scratchy hook & loop options. So far, this set has lasted well for us, includes a variety of sizes for varied sizes of cables, includes a few variations of blue colors and is at a fair price point. A good value and great addition to keep our tech drawer more organized. Can't speak to longevity of the silicone, but haven't experienced a lot of breakdown with other silicone products, so I'm optimistic it will hold up long enough to be worth the fair cost. Read more
