There is nothing better than having leg warmers in winter, all varieties. These aren’t bad. I’m 5’4” and about 143 lbs., and order the 27 inch. I don’t think I need the 34” because the 27s are enough to handle. The idea is to snug your legs and relatively stay put. Also, they have to be comfortable. I find these acrylic socks are a medium thickness and have ample stretch, so they’re loose feeling and expand enough to function. As others mentioned, I cut a small (1/8”) slit and easily cut and pulled out the round elastic band, because I could feel it. I stitched up the small opening with needle and thread. The over the knee does slide down quickly for me, but I can wear a midi length dress and get from car to restaurant and not care otherwise where they fall. For a thigh high, I wish they had a wider band, better elastic. Otherwise, they are fairly soft and comfy, for an over the thigh, I would prefer something a bit thinner. “ Read more

I bought these to wear with my pink Victoria’s Secret velour sweatsuit. But I wore with jeans bc it ended up looking weird. They have elastic (rubber bands?) sewn in the top not to fall off, and are long enough to scrunch up in cool ways. Happy with my purchase and now understand why several people in the comments own more than one pair. Good buy would purchase again, soft and heavy but stretchy material. Very comfortable, I wanted to nap in them. But they were a little tight around my calves; but for someone thinner than me they would not do this. Well made; I’m satisfied. I still think they are very comfortable and cute and the tightness doesn’t bother me enough-it keeps them up but I won’t wear them over my thighs; I bought them to just be leg warmers not thigh highs. Next I want grey ones so they match more items when I work out.
