I've had the knives for a few months now and they came very sharp and in a nice block with a sharpener. I hand washed the knives and placed them vertically in the drying rack. Within 24 hours there was some light rust forming on the blade. This happened to a couple of them. Rust came off easily. I now hand dry them after washing and haven't had anymore issues with rust. Haven't had these very long yet but seem to be a solid set of knives for the price. Edge seems to hold up well, haven't had to sharpen them more than once 2 months in. Handle just doesn't seem to fit me quite right but others who have used them seem to like them so I wont knock any stars off for that. If you need a quick set to get you by or are just budget focused these appear to be a good option. I will update this review in the future when I've had a chance to use them much more. Read more

Love this knife set. Good knives and sharp and stays sharp for months. I use them daily. The one problem is that within a out 4 months the big chef knife cracked on the blade and I need to replace just one knife. Which I have looked and you can't replace just one knife that matches this set. Which defeat the purpose of having a full set of knives. Read more

Besides being a nice looking set, they're super easy to use even with arthritic hands/wrists. These become nearly surgical when using the built in sharpener, which is easier to use than a handheld sharpener. This is a carbon steel set, so keeping food grade mineral/knife oil on hand is a must. One of my children accidentally put the scissors in the dishwasher, and it rusted after a single wash.
