After dealing with some friction issues on my bike, I decided to invest in the Park Tool PolyLube 1000 Bicycle Grease, and I'm extremely pleased with the results. This grease has significantly improved my riding experience, though there were a couple of aspects I found less ideal. Here's my breakdown: **Pros:** 1. **Excellent Quality**: This grease is top-notch. It feels great and has the right consistency for bike maintenance. 2. **Improved Ride**: Since using the PolyLube 1000, my bike rides are much smoother. I wish I had bought this sooner! 3. **Solved a Neglected Issue**: The bike shop never greased the hubs of my bike, and this product filled that gap perfectly, enhancing my bike's performance. **Cons:** 1. **Size Might Be Too Much**: The size of this container might be overkill for a regular person. It's suitable if you have several bikes or other equipment needing lubrication, but for a single bike owner like me, it's a bit much. 2. **Premium Price**: While I do feel that I paid a premium price for this product, I must say the quality seems to justify the cost. It's not a budget option, but you get what you pay for. **Conclusion:** Park Tool PolyLube 1000 Bicycle Grease is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their bike's performance. The quality is outstanding, and the difference it made in my bike rides was immediately noticeable. However, the size and price might be drawbacks for some. If you have just one or two bikes, you might find the size excessive, and the price might feel a bit high. But if quality and performance are your main concerns, this grease is definitely worth considering. I don't regret my purchase one bit, and I'm sure my bike appreciates the extra care! Read more

This is your gold standard general bike grease. Think bots, axles. Seatpost, etc. I doubt it's the type to pack hubs or headset bearings, but it's what you'd use in almost any other cycling application. I use it all the time and is a great value for the money considering its park tool, which is very proud of their products. (They've earned that, however). Works well and holds up after some use. I don't ever plan on using anything else. The smell is not bad, and it cleans up relatively easily for grease. Read more
