Customers report that the slow cooker liners melt in the crockpot and get holes during cooking, making them unsuitable for their intended purpose.

My crock pot is very old and the surface has lost it's finish making it difficult to clean. The liner works well and I had no issues with it; no leaks or sticking to either the pan or pot. I was a bit surprised the directions said to add 8oz of water to the crock pot prior to inserting the liner, but no big deal. My 1st use was a pot of bean soup, when I got to the end, I just lifted the liner out and poured the soup into my bowl to warm in the microwave. I read the 1 star reviews and don't believe them; I had no leaks or sticking liners. Maybe there are higher power crock pots that damage the liners, but these work fine on mine. Read more
I have been using a different brand of liners for years. Today was the first time I used these. I had a French Toast casserole that cooked on high for 2 hours. The bag melted on the food and on my crockpot. The second one had creamed corn and it cooked in low for 4 hours it also melted in the crockpot, there were holes in the bottom of the bag. I am very disappointed. I came home and looked at the directions. I guess you are only supposed to use these if you put water in the bottom of the bag...but all recipes don’t call for a cup of water! Apparently you also can’t let the bag stick out of the pot where it might touch the metal rim your crock is sitting in. With the other brand I have always wrapped the bag around the edge of the crock and under the rim, into the metal part of the slow cooker to secure it, I have left it cooking that way for HOURS with cheese sauce at parties, then pulled that bag out and frozen leftovers in the crockpot bag. These didn’t even last for 2 hours! You cannot let these bags touch any part of the metal. Read more

Slow Cooker liners make clean up a lot quicker and easier. The slow cooker liners I bought were even better than I thought they would be. They are thicker than many I've used before, so they don't break. They stand up to the heat of anything I cook in them and they fit my extra large slow cooker perfectly. They are actually taller then most I've used, so there's no spilling when it's time to clean up. The price was very good also considering there's 30 liners in the package (3 boxes of 10 each). Cooking in crockpot on low for 8 hours, it doesn’t hold up. It melts and had numerous large holes. That crap is in your food and food has to be thrown out. I do better spraying pot with Pam before cooking! Don’t waste your money!! Read more
I use these bags once a week. These slow cooker bags are an excellent ecomomical alternative to expensive name-brand bags, as long as you: A. Only use the 'low'setting on your slow cooker. B. Add water to the ceramic pot before putting in the bag. C. Don't let the bag touch the metal outer pot. Missing any of the above precautions will result in a melted bag and some messy cleanup. These bags aid tremendously in cleanup, since you scoop out your soups or stews, and then dispose of the bag. (it “lines” your Crockpot!) Wash out the Crockpot And your done !!! Read more
This product inicated it needed 8 ounces of water in the cooking pot before placing liner in the appliance. This was a first and you must be sure to fit the liner as it can bunch leak. The last couple uses it has proven to be a quick clean up for the cooking appliance. I am satisfied with the ease of removing the cooked food into another container or for additional preparation.
