The media could not be loaded. For the PA500 version (with the lumbar support, I'm just not using it) first impressions are great. The foam padding seems much better quality than the other benches I looked at, Its nice and firm seems to keep its shape and not too soft to where the vinyl gets all messed up. Very sturdy out of the box, easy to assemble, the adjustable knobs on the bottom of the legs help level the whole thing out. I will update this review if it becomes less sturdy over time. The only downside Id say is the size of the gap between the seat is bigger than most other benches but its not a deal breaker and can be filled with a rolled up towel or piece of foam during use. This is a great bench for a home gym!!! It came very well packaged and super easy to assemble. Everything actually feels like it's made of quality materials. You could compare it to actual benches in the gym. It's adjusts perfect for all my needs, inclind, decline and fully 90 degrees with ease. I really don't see myself using the fold up feature but it works well and is a nice feature if needed. My only complaint and I mean only.. Would have to be the lumbar support. I wanted to appreciate the pad cause I do have slight back issues but unfortunately the pad is pretty hard and a bit too bulky to use properly. And it is optional you can take it on and off very easy. It's held on with a velcro strap. That's my ONLY complaint.. I've done all types of exercises on it and NOT once did I feel shakey or wobbly. This is a great bench for the price with one exception, the red trim on the backrest is held in place with 2 rivets. Unfortunately, those 2 rivets are where the seat and the backrest meet, and once the padding has compressed a little (I've been using the bench for about a month now) those 2 rivets dig into your tailbone and have worn the skin off while doing sit-ups. If you don't use the bench for sit-ups, this will not be an issue, I typically do 6 exercises (3 sets each) and in between each exercise I do a set of 50 sit-ups (so about 300, sometimes more). I tried rolling up a towel but that did not help, it moved to easily. I'm going to try picking up a pool nodle and sticking it in the crack to see if that gives me enough support. Like I said this is a great bench for the price with one small issue, I would probably give it 3.5 stars if I could, but couldn't justify giving it a 3. I love how it is inclines, and you can go ahead and have your home gym in your homes still saving space, it is sturdy.The size is a little big, but you can go ahead and fold it up to make it smaller. Read more
