This tinted 30 SPF super light daily wrinkle defense lotion is a new addition to my sun protection routine. As I've gotten older, I need a little color to even out my complexion. This lotion is light and dries down to a matte finish. It went on easily and didn't need to be blended. It's a moisturizer and SPF combined, which makes my morning make up application a breeze. Plus it's a mineral sunscreen with 13% zinc oxide, which does not have a whiteish cast. This SPF also contains antioxidants with reservatrol. This travel size is perfect for my next trip. Highly recommend. Read more

I’ve tried a bunch of spf moisturizers and for the most part did not keep with them for a variety of reasons including being too drying, too much residue, making me sheet white/ sickly looking, too oily/ greasy, making me breakout or itchy. This one, while not perfect has been the best yet as it is the least oily, is lightweight, applies evenly, not drying, doesn’t make me breakout or itchy and overall good for sensitive skin but also it has a slight tint which is at least better than no tint. I will say I am naturally very pale compared to most people so this works for me and even for myself, I wish it gave a bit more color but it doesn’t make me look sick, it just looks natural on my face. I’ve also learned to apply moisturizer underneath and then this spf tint applies much smoother. And if I want some color, I will add a bronzer powder on top of it. I do use it every morning after I’ve washed my face and I like it. I like that it’s made of zinc oxide meaning mineral based as opposed to a chemical based sunscreen and 30 spf is enough protection from sun damage for me for daily wear. It’s also very inexpensive compared to others I’ve tried which is an added bonus. It’s close to perfect for me and I’ve tried nearly all the drug store ones, Elta MD, PCA skin, Cerave, cetaphil, Obagi, Skinceuticals, Dermatologica, Revision and a few others. I’m pretty happy with it. I’m on my 3rd tube. Read more

I like the light tint. It doesn’t really tan me or anything, just sort of smooths the complexion a bit. Works great for me, since I don’t wear makeup (: It is pretty dry.. it’s winter right now. I’ve been using a moisture locking serum before i put this on, and my skin feels great. Read more

I never wear liquid foundation but I do use a powder one with a kabuki brush. I need an SPF due to using a retinol cream at nights now. Applying moisturizer, primer, SPF, then foundation and blush just is way too much work and too many layers on my face!! Paula's Choice Resist is ALL of the above minus the blush. The tint works on every complexion shade, isn't heavy and best of all doesn't make my face sweat or breakout. All this and sunscreen too!! So Paula's Choice Resist and mascara - I'm ready to go feeling pretty and protected. I carry the travel size in my purse and have bought the 2 fl. oz. size as well. After several uses the tube becomes messy so be careful not to squeeze too hard as a lot of product will come out and you will really only need half of it. I do not want to waste one drop of this product. I love it. Read more

I'm not going to touch on the size, because I knew I was purchasing a travel size. After trying this and loving it (at first) I actually purchased a full tube direct from the PC website. I really thought I had found my HG sunscreen. The Pros: no white cast. This matches my skin tone (very fair with strong pink undertones) about as perfectly as I've been able to find. I normally hate mineral sunscreen because of the white cast, but no issues with the PC Resist. It spreads very nicely and dries down matte, eliminating the shine I get on my forehead, nose, and chin. It doesn't sting or irritate my sensitive eyes. It contains resveratrol, which has natural estrogenic properties, great for aging skin. Now to the Cons: It leaves a waxy residue when you try to wash it off, requiring a double cleanse with an oil-based product. That's no big deal normally, but I have been having major irritation that I know is from the sunscreen. I don't feel it when I'm wearing it necessarily, other than I can tell my face feels a bit dry. However, after using an oil cleanser to break up the zinc oxide, and then my regular gentle facewash, my face is on FIRE! So irritated and raw feeling. Last night my entire face was bright red and burned for hours afterward. I do not rub or scrub at my face while washing, so it's not a mechanical issue. These are also products I've had in my regimen for years, so no allergy issue with them. I also noticed my skin felt very, very smooth after removing the sunscreen, almost like when I use glycolic acid on my face. I wish I had read the ingredients list more closely before purchasing! The sunscreen contains WILLOW BARK EXTRACT, which is a salicylic exfoliant. Combined with zinc oxide's naturally drying properties, the willow bark was damaging my moisture barrier and causing a constant fiery, inflamed mess! I may not have had as much of an issue in normal circumstances, but I've been using low strength tretinoin at night for quite some time. I tolerate this well, but the willow bark was the straw that broke the camel's back, unfortunately. Ultimately, I need to find a new sunscreen, because I've not giving up my tretinoin. :( Read more

There is literally nothing from her line I don't love. Everything is such top quality. This is a very lightweight tinted moisturizer with nice glide across the skin. It blends seamlessly. My only criticism I guess would be that the tint is fairly light. It'll blend into any skin tone I think, but if you were more medium or dark skin tone you won't be getting any color from this. I'm hoping she makes these in some other shades soon for those of us who use tinted moisturizer as a foundation. Read more
