Works great!! Super easy to put together even with the lack of instructions. It’s not super noisy but does have some noise to it. Puts out a lot of oxygen with everything hooked up properly. I have a betta and pleco so I thought a lot of oxygen flow might stress them out so I took off the backflow & just hooked the tubing up straight to the pump and poked very tiny holes in the tubing until I found the right flow for my tank. So overall for the price I am pleased Read more
I’ve bought two of these and I’m very happy with the pumps. The attachments each have came with are decent quality. It’s best to upgrade eventually unless it fits your specific requirements perfectly! The weight is super light and it rests nicely unlike others that tend to vibrate themselves off the shelf. easy to install and has a lot of capacity. Works for my 36g well and fits small areas! Ive had this pump for at least 4 months now, and I love it. Super quiet but powerful enough to run 2 bubblers and still be a bit aggressive. Havent had a single issue or complaint, but tbf this is my first air pump. That means its beginner friendly though! For the price and power and attatchments/tubing its 100% worth it. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Brand Pawfly Super silent Size 10 gallon Airpump Update: bought 10 gal pump but now have it sliced and one pump doing 55 gallon and 10 gallon tanks. So powerful I actually needed a valve to slow the air when I had it in the 55 gallon alone. Now I bought a second one for a tall 23 inch cylinder corner tank. The ten gallon air pump is running a back wall bubble stone creating a waterfall of bubbles in this 40 gallon. So, yes very powerful for a pump labeled 10 gallon. I suggest if you are using it on anything less that 30 gallons to get a valve to adjust the flow and not to blow out your fish : ). I love the small size. I replaced a very old pump that finally died on the 40 gallon and that pump was 3 x the size of this one. This has rubber feet and when placed correct makes VERY little noise. At one point I had one of these pumps aerating a 55 g, 20 g, and 1 gal all at once. So very strong. And again VERY quiet! The instruction were pictures only so being new to aquarium hobby I was a little intimidated setting up. But figured it out. I will always use this brand pump now! Pawfly. It comes with gereous amount of tube, one way calve, and stone. MAKE SURE you have you one way valve in correct direction or else the air will not flow. You will need to cut tube to add the one way valve. I have other tubes but this one is the best - not too stiff and not too soft! I am so impressed with this pump and kit! Cost on first one was about $16 for me 2023. The second purchase was on sale so I jumped on the offer!!! Original post: I like that it is small. Using in 5 gallon shrimp tank. Easy to set up. Had to cut the tube to insert backup valve but not a problem. Did not have that in instructions. Only picture instructions. VERY quiet when set up on rubber feet and just as long as tub near pump not up against something as it dies shake. It is not making any noise when set up correct. Pressure seems good. Using it with shrimp sponge filter. Read more
This is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for". This air pump does the job, but it is so loud I replaced it and just hold on to it for emergencies. Read more
Whew....finally put the air pump together for my 20 gallon fish tank. I already had an internal air filter inside while "cycling" my new tank and it is whisper quiet, but it was not giving enough surface agitation (upon learning after much internet learning and many youtube videos.) So I decided to also get a sponge filter and both this sponge filter and Pawfly air pump arrived at the same time. At first it seemed like rocket science to put it all together, but eventually figured it all out. I put that little red piece in backwards at first but was only getting one bubble at a time and remembered reading somewhere it may be in backwards, which it was. When I turned it in the other direction, then wow many awesome bubbles. So basically I was sooooo terrified that this was going to be soooo super loud and I read so many reviews on the air pump and braced myself for the noise like when I had a HOB filter and had to replace it with the internal filter and loved it so much. Well I plugged it in and WoW or Wow, super whisper quiet just like advertised. I did see in some of the comments that placing it on a towel or microfiber cloth would help with noise so I had a couple ready from my glasses case, the cloths that is. So sitting on 2 of those, I can hardly hear anything. The bubbles from the sponge filter is very minimal sounding and I put more water (dechlorinated) in the tank and It is sooo perfect and all is good.!!!! Sooo happy, now next step . . . to get some fish--- been cycling for about of month now. :0) Read more
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought the air pump and air stones to assist in propagating plant trimmings. The bubbles and air flow helps root stimulation and people do buy them for their fish tanks for the same purpose if there are live aquatic plants. It's very quiet and has worked nicely with the included tubing. The air stone fits tight, it's snug at all points with no water leakage at all. I also like that it's creating more humidity that plants need, when I have it running in my open propagating bowl beneath my hanging plants. It's been an excellent value for the price and it's small size is perfect for concealing behind a flower pot. Read more
