There is plenty of room to store a mouse, charging cord, wallet, and other items along with my laptop. There are plenty of pockets, and there's even a key ring inside. The buckles seem like they're more for show, but they do add visual appeal. The shoulder strap is comfortable, and the slide holds in place well. The stitching is very strong all over, and I really like the satiny interior! This bag is high quality, and seems like it can take one heck of a beating. This is a great bag and I got this as gift for my brother on his birthday. He’s in academics and normally has a ton of papers on him as well as his work laptop, his iPad, phone, keys and what not. A briefcase is too old for him and a backpack too young he says, so this satchel type messenger bag is perfect. There are a lot of pockets and spaces where all his stuff can go. There is padded space for laptop or notebook and lots of width for books, papers etc. The material is thick and the color is military green.
