I love Peak Design products. They are all extremely well designed and over-engineered to insure a quality product that lasts a long time. I didn't need a charging mount since I generally don't spend long periods in my car and don't really have any issue with my battery running low during my day. The mount is solidly built, not like so many of the cheap ones you see out there. Detailed mounting instructions are included as well as everything you need to mount it in your car. Peak Design has a lifetime warranty on all their products, this one included. The magnet is super strong so no worries about the phone falling off. This is a great mount...probably the last one you will need. BTW, you can remove it if you need to, in the event you trade cars. Instructions and materials to remount are included in the box. Great design, these magnetic mounts are the best I've yet come across. My phone fell off my mag safe mount in the car more than a few times whether due to road conditions or myself accidentally knocking it off. The road conditions that would knock it off this mount would destroy my car, yet it's easy to pull off. Great mounting system, and the other accessories work the same way. Read more

Strong magnet and nice movement on the ball joint. Mounted it yesterday and I am waiting for the 24-hour sealing period to end. My concern here in western WA is the minimum temperature for the mount to adhere to my dashboard. It gets down to about 45F in my garage each evening so I have been putting a thick towel in the dryer and then wrapping it every few hours to maintain some heat. Is this obsessive? Followed all the directions to clean the area. Put the mount on for 24 hours. And it didn't stay attached to my dashboard. It comes with two adhesive pieces but there is still way to get the sticky part off the bount itself to put on the second piece well. Very disappointed in this because now I have a case for a system that doesn't work to support my phone on the car and an expensive metal bracket that won't support the weight of my phone. Read more

I was really happy with my Peak Design phone case and motorcycle mount and have never been able to find a decent phone mount for my 2003 Toyota Tundra, so thought I'd give this a try. Wow. Just follow the instructions and you're set. The only draw back is the cleaner has alcohol and it looked like it was taking some of the color from my dash. I just kept the cleaning to a small area and once the mount was installed I used a little vinyl color back around it, so no problem there. It holds the phone rock solid and has a very minimal look if I'm not using the phone there. Highly recommended. Read more
