I was skeptical, because 1... I ordered the cheapest jumper box on amazon (with built in compressor) and 2... its only 850A... But I have went to save the day twice, to a friend who lives in his car, so the battery was fully DRAINNED and suprisingly this thing didnt hesitate at all and spun thst v6 suoer fast both times to start it. 2nd time the jumper was still on the same charge, and he was also almost out of gas. This one is a little hard for me to review as I did not have a dead battery in any of my vehicles to test the jump start feature. So keep that in mind. My unit did not come with any instructions whatsoever other than a 5-step image on the back of the shipping box (on how to use the jump starter). It doesn't seem that there is any separate mode you need to switch the unit into to get it to jump a dead battery, as per those limited instructions. With that said, I put a multimeter across the battery clamps and all I got was a jumping around reading of a few volts. Nowhere near 12 to 14 volts, or more, that I would expect. So again, no way for me to test if this thing can actually jump start a vehicle. I did however test it out on inflating tires. I used it to inflate the tires on my rider mower. These tires are all low pressure but higher volume tires. 40PSI in the small front tires, and only 10PSI (but a lot of volume) in the larger rear tires. The unit had no trouble pumping the tires up to the required pressures. After filling, I noticed that the battery was still sitting at 3 bars, which is full. It's nice that it comes with a few extra adapters for inflating things such as sports balls (Football, soccer ball, basketball, etc.), and some others for things like inflatable pool toys and such. The unit has 2, white LEDs on the top that can either glow steady, or flash rapidly. They provide just enough light to get things done in the dark. No more than needed. If you plug a USB-A plug into the port, you can use the built-in battery of the unit to charge a device such as a phone. The only other thing is that when using the unit as an inflator, you might want to hold it in your hands and not lay it on the ground (even if the very short inflator hose reaches the ground), as the unit when on bounces all over the place, and there's no rubber bumpers on the bottom to cushion the unit. The unit comes with a storage bag to store everything in, including the air hose, charge cord, jumper clamps, hose adapters. Other battery powered inflators I have came with no such storage, so this is a plus with this particular unit. The only other thing that I might change, would be some sort of switch to put the device in jump start mode (where at least I could see the voltage out), and I'd like to see a change where the LEDs will only come on when the unit is turned on with the main power switch. Right now as it sits, if you accidentally hit the LED button, the LEDs will light up even though the power to the device itself is in the OFF position. This is a good way to find your unit totally dead due to the LEDs having been accidentally being triggered while the unit was stored in your trunk. So, once again, this review is not really totally complete as I couldn't really try the jump starter, nor get a meaningful voltage from the clamps when attached to a voltmeter. This may be a great unit, 5-stars worth. But I truly don't know. Read more
